She is a fan of anime and video games who unknowingly got to audition for the new "Metal Gear", Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (2015) and would be cast as the voice and motion capture of Quiet. - Although her native Language is Dutch, Joosten speaks fluent Japanese and advanced English.
- She was once invited to audition for a video game. However, as the project was handled very secretively, she didn't know for which game. When she saw game director Hideo Kojima, it gave her a hint for what she was auditioning for. Next to her was a crate with prop guns, and she was asked to pick one and pretend to infiltrate an army base. Joosten, being familiar with video games, immediately caught on. It later turned out that she was auditioning for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (2015), where she would play the character Quiet.
