Andrew Stamp is a British/Canadian film composer based in London. His music has been heard in feature films, short films, television programs and TV commercials throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. He recently scored holocaust documentary, 'The Barn', which was executive produced by Nancy Spieberg. Andrew also scored the award-winning children's film, 'A Dozen Summers' with former 'Doctor Who' star Colin Baker and Ewen MacIntosh of 'The Office' fame. He also wrote music for several TV commercials for Italian television, including Mediolanum Bank and the highly popular Christmas spot for Pupa cosmetics. Andrew provided the music for the hit web series 'Fully Engaged', which will soon be going into its second season. Some of his past work includes scoring the children's feature films, 'Moo Moo and the Three Witches' and 'Ghost Goggles' for Los Angeles-based production company, Magic Elevator Productions.
As a performer Andrew is an accomplished flutist. He has performed with the Chicago Symphony and the Utah Symphony in the United States and with the Central Band of the Royal British Legion in the UK. He has performed for dignitaries and members of the Royal family.
Andrew has a B Mus. from Oberlin Conservatory, where he studied flute performance and composition. He also followed the 'Music for the Media' composition course under the tutelage of renowned media composers Guy Michelmore and Charles Fernandez.
