While the world is still enjoying Marvel’s Daredevil series (read our review here), production is already underway on the studio’s next Netflix show, A.K.A. Jessica Jones. The series is currently filming in New York City and as such, some images have begun to leak from the set featuring star Krysten Ritter as the titular heroine along with Mike Colter as Luke Cage and David Tennant as “Purple Man” Zebediah Kilgrave.

As expected, Marvel hasn’t quite committed to giving Tennant purple skin, instead dressing the famous Purple Man in lavender attire. It’s a change that makes sense, especially in the more “grounded” world that these Netflix shows reside in, but it’s a tad disappointing nonetheless.

Marvel’s upcoming Netflix series A.K.A. Jessica Jones has just gained three new cast additions, in the form of The Originals’ Eka Darville, The Kings of Summer actress Erin Moriarty, and Red Widow‘s Wil Traval.
Based on the initial casting report, the trio won’t be taking on roles of pre-established comic book characters, but will instead play smaller supporting parts. However, the character descriptions are just vague enough to suggest that maybe there’s more here than meets the eye, so I wouldn’t rule out any ties to the source material just yet.
Darville will play Malcolm, a neighbor to Jessica Jones “whose own journey will intertwine with her quest in a surprising way.” As for Moriarty, she’ll play a girl named Hope who becomes a client at Jones’ detective agency, Alias Investigations, and Traval will play an NYPD cop who “takes ‘protect and serve’ very seriously.

Dermot Mulroney has declined to cover up his scar throughout his 30 years in the entertainment industry, and has recently explained how he got it.
Dermot Mulroney's Scar
"It was a long time ago, so I've always had it," Mulroney admitted to the The Chicago Sun-Times Sunday magazine Splash. Mulroney, 50, vividly remembers the freak accident that happened when he hadn’t even turned four yet.
"I was three-and-a-half, and I was carrying a dish for our pet rabbits,” he told Splash. “And I tripped and it broke, and I fell on it. I definitely remember that day, even though I was three years old."
For Mulroney, the scar is just as much a part of him as anything else. It’s something that’s there that he’s never had any intention of ridding himself of for the purposes of vanity. At the end of the day, it’s not...
