Alexis Horton

Alexis Horton was born December 17, 2000, in Mount Vernon, WA. She
moved to Louisiana in 2005 and adapted to being a Southern Belle. She
began acting in school plays, then auditioned and was accepted into the
Louisiana State Talented Theatre Program. She has had the lead role in
several of their presentations and is also active in community theatre.
Alexis has been dancing for nine years, competitively for seven of
those. She dances ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, hip hop and
contemporary. She also plays the snare drum, bass drum, bells, timpani,
and other percussion. Alexis is a member of her school's competitive
dance team, broadcasting team,Friends of Rachel, and Gateway to
Technology classes. Outside of school, she is a member of Ballet
Espirit Dance Company and performs annually in The Nutcracker. Alexis has appeared in on television on Treme, as well as on her local PBS channel, and Film in Homefront. She is also Miss Crescent City Outstanding Teen and participated in the 2015 Miss Louisiana Outstanding Teen pageant in Monroe, LA.
