Joe Locke has been dazzling attendees in the Broadway musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street since January!
The 20-year-old actor is portraying Tobias Ragg in his Broadway debut, and his latest fans in attendance included his Heartstopper co-stars Kit Connor and Tobie Donovan.
There was also a big star, who has played Tobias in versions of the musical in the past, was also in attendance that same night and praised the young actor’s portrayal.

Tobie shared the post on his own story, writing, “My eyes still puffy from all the crying,” as well as, “So crazy proud of you @joelocke03,” with a photo of the marquee outside the building.

As expected, Broadway’s Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street will end its run this spring when stars Aaron Tveit and Sutton Foster conclude their limited 12-week engagements on May 5.
Tveit and Foster have been playing the roles of Sweeney and Mrs. Lovett, respectively, since last month, having replaced original stars Josh Groban and Annaleigh Ashford. While box office figures since the new leads took over remain strong, average attendance has slipped from the previous sell-out numbers to around 90% of capacity in most recent weeks.
According to a show spokesperson, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street was originally intended to conclude its run in January 2024 following the departures of Groban and Ashford, but extended through May 5 with the castings of the popular Tveit and Foster, who began performances Friday February 9.

Tobias Menzies is revealing if he’ll really be returning for the upcoming final season of Outlander.
The 49-year-old actor actually played two characters on the hit show, Frank Randall and his ancestor Jonathan “Black Jack” Randall.
Tobias starred as a main cast member, portraying both characters, throughout the first four seasons of the show.
The actor recently confirmed his involvement or lack thereof in the show’s upcoming eighth season.
