Christopher Butler is a Writer/Director/Actor born and raised in The
Bronx, NY, Chris began as a student of the Ghetto Film School where he
met a host of industry professionals such as David O. Russell, Spike
Jonze, and Lee Daniels. At the age of 18 he worked on the foreign short
film "Caraca" made in Brazil, from there he went on to work for Lee
Daniels in 2012 during the post-production of "The Paperboy" and the
preproduction of "The Butler" from Lee's New York office. At the young
age of 13 he lost his mother to breast cancer (Theresa L. Butler). She
was a social worker and single parent who strive to raise her three
children to the best of her ability. In 2013 Chris made a cameo in
fellow director and friend David O. Russell's "American Hustle" and is
now pursuing a career in Film Distribution and Acting.The majority of
his work is in the world of Short Films and Advertisement.
