Warner Bros has launched the first trailer for the Will Smith-led ‘King Richard’.
Based on the true story that will inspire the world, the film follows the journey of Richard Williams, an undeterred father instrumental in raising two of the most extraordinarily gifted athletes of all time, who will end up changing the sport of tennis forever. Two-time Oscar nominee Will Smith stars as Richard, under the direction of Reinaldo Marcus Green (“Monsters and Men”).
Driven by a clear vision of their future and using unconventional methods, Richard has a plan that will take Venus and Serena Williams from the streets of Compton, California to the global stage as legendary icons. The profoundly moving film shows the power of family, perseverance and unwavering belief as a means to achieve the impossible and impact the world.

"Like a voice is telling me to do it." "What happens if you don't listen to it?" So this is what happens! Scary. The Rule of Three is a frightening new slasher horror short film made by young filmmaker Elwood Quincy Walker. The film premiered at a few festivals last year + this year and is now available to watch online. A woman haunted by her Ocd and intrusive thoughts must overcome herself and face her inner demons to survive the night in the event of a terrifying home invasion by three masked slashers. It's a freaky fun play on literally confronting your actual "inner demons" as masked slasher people. And it's also just a well-made, engaging, and very scary horror short. Starring Hannah Barefoot and James Warfield. And there's even a great score along with it, made by Alexander Taylor. I'm always on the lookout for clever, distinct short films...

The thing that drew me most to Between The Trees is that title itself. It’s unique and kind of intriguing and sometimes that’s all I need to get me interested in a movie… The story starts off pretty familiar to your average movie-goer. A group of friends (this time not actually young but middle-aged men) go to a cabin in the woods-like home for a get together which means they can get away from their family for a short time and have some fun. Then some strange things start happening. In this case it’s some weird creatures firing arrows at them, seemingly wanting to kill them.
What’s interesting about Between The Trees is that the human-like creatures attacking the...

"We don't have much time!" Electric Entertainment has unveiled the first official trailer for an indie action horror thriller titled Bad Samaritan, the latest film directed by producer/writer Dean Devlin. The film is about a pair of clever young thieves who rob the houses of rich people, but one day one of them winds up at a home where a woman is being held against her will. When he tries to call it in, the police find nothing, and he ends up in the sights of the kidnapper while trying to figure out how to save her. Robert Sheehan stars, along with David Tennant, Carlito Olivero, Kerry Condon, Lisa Brenner, Hannah Barefoot, and Jacqueline Byers. This looks fairly creepy, with Tennant giving a good subdued evil performance. I'm actually interested in seeing this, a slick psychological thriller about a lunatic almost like American Psycho. Here's the first official trailer...

Besetment stars Abby Wathen (The Bay) as Amanda Millard, a young woman who takes a hotel position in a small town where she ends up fighting for her life…. Struggling and desperate for a job, Amanda takes a position at a hotel in a small town in Oregon. It’s a creepy, back country kind of town but owners Mildred Colvin and her son Billy seem nice enough at first. It’s not long before Amanda discovers their real intentions, and her struggle to make a living becomes a nightmarish fight for her life.
The tone of Besetment is set straight away during the films opening credits: creepy imagery of blood running down shower drains, fluids being injected into… something/someone, and stitches being removed,...
