- When Grace Curley heard in 2008 that film and television studios were coming to Massachusetts, the Taunton resident gathered the courage to pursue her dream of working in the entertainment industry (television always having been her favorite medium.) Her resume now boasts both on-camera and off-camera credits, as well as training from Kevin Lasit, one of the premiere acting coaches in the state.
Born and raised in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, Grace was inspired by the art around her; her father being a graphic artist and her mother a life long theatre enthusiast. Her acting debut was in the 2008 webseries "Gavin Lance," playing the Waitress. She has also appeared in the HGTV show "Spontaneous Construction" as a flashmobber and worker, and the webseries "Minutes to Live," playing herself. Her favorite types of acting are improv, commercials, and comedy, all of which come naturally to her.
Aside from her commitment to performing, this creativity manifests itself in an appetite to learn everything she can about production. Since her dive into the business, Grace has amassed experience in line producing, casting, script supervision, and even lighting.
Her ideal job, she states, would be one where she can combine her love of children and psychology (she has a degree in Psychology from Bridgewater State College,) with her love of comedy and improv. Her hopes for her own future success mirror her hopes for the success of a major movie studio in New England.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Talent Tools
