Twentieth Century Fox will release a new take on Marvel Comics' "Fantastic Four", March 6, 2015, to be directed by Josh Trank ("Chronicle"), from a screenplay by Michael Green and Jeremy Slater.
The 2005 "Fantastic Four" feature and 2007 sequel "Rise of the Silver Surfer" were directed by Tim Story, starring Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis.
It is unfortunate that Fox does not have screen rights to Marvel Comics' first mutant, 'Namor the Sub-Mariner'.
Namor was originally in development with Universal and now sits with Disney.
Many fans would be interested in seeing the comic book secret love affair between 'Sue Storm Richards', aka 'The Invisible Woman' and Namor, in the new movie.
