As the world prepares to completely lose its mind with the release of the new Star Wars film, it is obviously time to try to stir the pot as much as possible. That in mind, the previous films from the franchise are going to be released on April 10th in digital edition, and with some new bonuses to help sucker you in to the purchase.
They also come with the legacy bonus content, and put together, these are impressive releases. I don’t want to overly comment on how many sales the first three episodes are going to get, but if you need to catch up on the universe in general, this is your chance. And, since we’re looking at a new generation who need to get on board for the new film, this is the way to go.

Since its 1977 debut, Star Wars has become perhaps the only franchise to reach every generation in some form or another. The six released movies so far offer everything to pop culture including art, books, conventions and collectables. People always seem to want more out of the movies be it extras or untold behind-the-scenes anecdotes, anything!

I love it when when insanely cool stuff like this from the original Star Wars trilogy finds its way into the light after all these years. Just when you think you've seen it all we get to see more original 1970s and '80s Star Wars poster art for the first time. A new Star Wars Art Series book is being released. It's the fifth and final book of series, and it includes rare never-before-seen posters that were created for the theatrical release of the film. The book was written and edited by Jonathan Rinzler, who says,
“This was not really a research book; George really wanted to show the posters without credits. He wanted to highlight the art. So my job was to try and find the actual artwork or layered artwork so we could take off the credits so you could see the artwork for what it is.

What Is This Block Of Text? Hi, my name is Da7e and every Friday I write something about Star Wars. It's usually about sequel trilogy, the spin-off movies or Star Wars Rebels and occasionally, I'm the first one to write about things. Important things. Like this week: wigs.
It’s been an interesting week in Star Wars: Episode VII stuff. All the best things remain unconfirmed whispers on forums and in comments sections. The production has really locked themselves down and I’m getting the general sense that anyone with access to the story has been given a crash course in diverting attention from the sort of details we think we want to know.
I would argue, and have been arguing, that the more we know about Star Wars: Episode VII the better because thats how people interact with things they love endlessly, but I can very easily see the flip side,...

The Jedi universe wasn’t built in a day and the construction process had some strange stages. If you thumb through the 1974 draft of the George Lucas script for The Star Wars (as it was called then) you’ll see a funhouse version of the most famous space epic that includes a warrior named Starkiller and a reptilian alien named Han Solo.
That version of Star Wars has been a relatively obscure artifact, but now it will get a spotlight of its own in a major adaptation by Dark Horse Comics that maps out a tale that’s both familiar and totally alien.
