Take a look at Zendaya, one of the stars of “Dune: Part Two”, attending a recent photocall for the film’s premiere, wearing futuristic body armor gear:
"..Zendaya plays ‘Chani’, aka ‘Chani Kynes’, the daughter of ‘Liet-Kynes’.
“Chain is the lover of ‘Paul Atreides’ and eventually his partner in ruling the galaxy.
Like ‘Duke Leto’ and ‘Jessica’, Paul never marries Chani but instead marries ‘Princess Irulan’ to institute himself into the family of the ‘Emperor’.
“Chani and Paul eventually have twins, ‘Leto II’ and ‘Atreides’.

From their punk origins to their stadium-level success in the Live Aid and Breakfast Club era, this music doc finds the Glasgow band still sweetly and likably down to earth
Here’s a very straightforward music documentary about Simple Minds – the story of five working-class lads from Glasgow who started a band in 1977, and by the mid-80s were stadium rockers up there with U2. “The most iconic and influential Scottish band in history,” is how the film’s promotional material describes them. Today, only frontman Jim Kerr and guitarist Charlie Burchill remain of the original lineup – and miraculously they’re still mates. And when Kerr says sweetly that their friendship is one of his greatest achievements, it looks like he really means it.
They started the band in the punk era, then switched to art rock. With his black eyeliner and creepy monk’s fringe, Kerr looked the part of charismatic frontman.

McDonald’s may never dip their toes into more adult fare like a rated “R” slasher movie, but that’s where companies like Chain come into play. Thrillist has announced this afternoon that Chain, a pop-up dinner series, is getting set to launch the Stabby Meal while we all wait for Scream VI to arrive in theaters next month, a Scream-themed twist on a McDonald’s classic!
Thrillist explains, “For every pop-up, the Chain gang picks an iconic dish from a chain restaurant then chops and screws it into something new, elevating hits like Taco Bell’s Crunchwrap, Bj’s Pizookie, Chili’s Southwestern Egg Rolls, and Outback Steakhouse’s Bloomin’ Onion. They recreate them with high-quality ingredients, precise technique, and a chef’s touch, bringing your childhood favorites back to life in exciting, modern ways.”

Marrakech – Chain smoking in a green, pleated Issey Miyake outfit, paired with cream loafers, his hair tied neatly back, Tahar Rahim, 41, speaks, between puffs, in such a convincing, powerful American accent, that you would never imagine that the actor grew up in the Paris banlieue, in a poor French-Algerian family packed with children.
His cinema education was as much as popping into the multicultural neighbor’s houses, to chat and drink tea, as watching films, when he could afford to, on local screens.
“France has changed,” he says. “I grew up in a suburb where we were all together. French, Egyptians, gypsies. You would go to each other’s houses. Drink tea. Chat. The conversations you have. It made me. Boundaries are just an imaginary line because to discover a new culture is rich.”

The thing about being a fan of horror movies is that the more of them you see the less scary they become. The mind starts to desensitize itself to the jump scares and the gore so that what might be downright terrifying to the uninitiated ends up being only mildly frightening to a super fan. Recently, "Terrifier 2," the sequel to Damien Leone's 2016 splatter film about the homicidal Art the Clown, has been making headlines for its decision to really Go There with its gore. There have been reports of people passing out in theaters, seemingly unable to stomach the horrors on screen, and even horror fans with the strongest of stomachs have commented on the extreme brutality of this new film. Over the years, many horror films have disturbed audiences in similar, visceral ways, but only one paved the way for the future of gore: Tobe Hooper's 1974 masterpiece,...

As the golden age of high-def horror continues, we aren’t just getting bells-and-whistles Blu-rays of films we never expected to receive such treatment—titles like The Mutilator and Squirm—but also of films some of us barely new existed. American Horror Project Vol. 1, the new Blu-ray box set from Arrow Video, collects three such films: low-budget independent horror movies from the 1970s that have either been forgotten or are in danger of being lost forever.
In attempting to find obscure titles that are still in good enough condition to be restored in high-def, the curators of American Horror Project Vol. 1 (among them Stephen Thrower, author of Nightmare USA, as well as books on both Lucio Fulci and Jess Franco) could easily have found esoteric films that fit the criteria but were, for lack of a more diplomatic way of saying it, better off staying lost. But that couldn’t be further from the case.
