Power Rangers Hyperforce, the interactive live-streamed tabletop role-playing game headed by Hyper RPG, finished its one season run on a massive cliffhanger. The Rangers were faced with an altered future, one where villains Rita, Zedd, and Thrax conquered the world. With no other option the team had to head back in time to try and change the future.
Since Hyperforce ended in 2018 we’ve heard very little about what would have occurred in the second season, partly due to the somewhat improved nature of a tabletop game. However, Meghan Camarena who played Pink Hyperforce Ranger Chloe, recently spoke to us about where her character might have gone in a second season.
“Chloe was gonna go bad,” she reveals. “She was gonna join her dad on a quest to find her mom and probably do some questionable things.” In the season finale Chloe was reunited with her untrustworthy father and didn...

The partnership will call for each of the creators to manage their own Twitch channel -- though several were already active on the platform before the deal. Exclusive content will begin rolling out today -- representing something of a coup for Twitch given that the quartet counts a combined 47 million YouTube subscribers. Twitch also said it will harness feedback from Sean McLoughlin, Mark Fischbach, Luzu Vazquez, and Meghan Camarena to evolve its approach to monetization, moderation, and more, according to content Svp Michael Aragon.

Thousands of digital creators, industry professionals, brands, and fans will pack their bags for sunny Florida next week in anticipation of Playlist Live Orlando -- a six-year-old convention that has evolved into an annual industry staple.
This year’s three-day event, of course, purports to be its biggest yet with roughly 12,000 fans, 450 influencers and 75 brands in attendance -- representing a 2,000% increase in attendance since the event’s inception in 2011, says founder Alex Tchekmeian. And for the first time, the event will culminate with a two-hour firework, laser light, and DJ show for attendees and influencers alike on Saturday evening.
“This year we’ve really activated the whole entire outdoor space of the venue -- so that’s going to be one of the bigger features this year,” Tchekmeian tells Tubefilter.
With 600 fans in attendance at the very first Playlist Live, this figure has doubled every year between 2011 and 2015. This year,...

A handful of YouTube stars, Twitch streamers, and other creative types are involved in a new project on Instagram, but no video is involved. Instead, creators like Meghan Camarena appear in a series of high-quality photos, which together form a superhero whodunit dubbed #SpideyMurderMystery.
As its title suggests, the #SpideyMurderMystery takes place in the Marvel universe, with characters from the Spider-Man canon battling one another. Their struggles are photographed by Michael Becker across daily sets of nine images.
The mystery will unfold during the week of October 26th, with each daily photo set focusing on a specific character. Up first is Gwen Stacy, portrayed by Camarena; she’ll be followed by Yu Komori (stuntman Yoshua Sudarso), Silk (Joanna Sotomura), Mary Jane (Ashlyn Pearce), and Peter Parker (Twitch streamer Wesley Johnson). While the same set of nine captions remains the same across all characters, the changing nature of the images themselves...

In a land overrun by ruthless creatures that hunt by sound, even the faintest whimper can lead to your death in Tim Lebbon's The Silence, a new horror novel hitting shelves later this month. Titan Books has provided us with an exclusive excerpt from Lebbon's latest to share with Daily Dead readers, and we also have a look at two recent 31 images revealed by Rob Zombie, as well as details on the zombie series, Fight of the Living Dead, which is now available to watch in its entirety on BlackBoxTV.
Tim Lebbon's The Silence: "In the darkness of a underground cave system, blind creatures hunt by sound. Then there is light, there are voices, and they feed... Swarming from their prison, the creatures thrive and destroy. To scream, even to whisper, is to summon death. As the hordes lay waste to Europe, a girl watches to see if they will cross the sea.

Marriott Content Studio has a new project to add to its already-long list of and upcoming programming. The hotel chain’s digital studio teamed up with What’s Trending to produce an original travel series starring Jeana from PrankvsPrank, Steve Zaragoza of SourceFed, Louis Cole from FunForLouis, Tom Cassell of The Syndicate Project, and Meghan Camarena (aka Strawburry17).
The unofficially-named series functions as a five-piece video campaign to introduce millennial travelers to the ease of Marriott’s new mobile check-in feature. In the videos, the YouTube stars have the chance to visit a city from around the globe (at least one where Marriott has a hotel establishment), and partake in one experience to strike off their individual bucket lists.
Viewers follow Jeana to New York as she cooks dishes alongside world-renowned chef Einat Admony, watch Zaragoza tour the Franconian sausage factory in London, and see Cole learn martial arts in Shanghai.

Joey Graceffa is the latest YouTube star to partner with a major Tinseltown talent agency. Graceffa, who began making videos on main channel in 2011, was one of YouTube's biggest breakout stars of 2013. He now has more than 3.3 million subscribers and over 273 million views on his main channel. Graceffa has shown interest in expanding beyond his vlogging roots. Last year, he raised $140,000 on Kickstarter to fund Storytellers, his first scripted web series. Storytellers debuted late in 2013 and earned millions of views courtesy of Graceffa's growing fanbase. Through his deal with UTA, he will have the opportunity to further expand his presence across...

So far, this “Amazing Race: All-Stars” season has frustrated me a bit. I didn’t love the huge gap between the first and second flights in the premiere, nor that we had an entire episode determined by wandering around looking for wedding dresses. I also didn’t love that this past week’s episode saw six teams get an insurmountable three-hour advantage based only on taxi-based luck, leaving the remaining three teams with a no-margin-for-error window to avoid elimination. Not surprisingly, as frustrated as I’ve been, Joey Graceffa & Meghan Camarena are even more disappointed. Team YouTube spent finished in next-to-last in the first Leg and, with very little room for advancement, started the next two Legs in last. Unable to get on that first flight out of China, there were left running against John & Jessica and Brendon & Rachel. Last Sunday’s Leg came down to a simple mistake: At a Roadblock,...

"I'm so excited to be working with H&R Block on a video celebrating how good it feels to get money back," said Chung, "showing how taxes can actually be fun!" We first talked to Joey Graceffa back on June 20, 2013. The YouTube star with a penchant for honest monologues, cover songs, The Hunger Games, gaming walkthroughs, and YouTube challenges was partnered with Alloy Digital at the time (now Defy Media) and had just passed the one million subscriber mark. Six months later, on December 20, 2013, he’s now at 2.6+ million subscribers (which isn’t a new subscriber every 1.3 seconds - it’s more like a new subscriber every 9.7 seconds - but still an incredibly impressive acquisition rate) and a new network. StyleHaul, the YouTube McN that boasts more than 108 million subscribers among 2,400+ channels comprised of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle programming can now boast to having Joey Graceffa within its network, too. Graceffa was busy wrapping CBS’ Amazing Race when we reached out for comment (he finished in fifth place with his teammate Meghan Camarena, whose Strawburry17 YouTube channel is also with StyleHaul...

The Stylehaul network is best known for its roster of fashion-forward creators, but its latest addition doesn't just tell her fans what to wear. As a vlogger, gamer, chef, actress, and world traveller, YouTuber Strawburry17 (real name Meghan Camarena) will bring a diverse array of videos to her new network. Camarena's channel is home to a number of distinct weekly series. She releases cosplay and sketch videos on Mondays, plays Minecraft on Tuesdays, cooks super nerdy eats on Wednesdays, challenges her fellow YouTubers to video games on Thursdays, and provides fashion/beauty/lifestyle tips on Fridays. She is also known for her friendship with Joey Graceffa; together, they competed on the most recent season of The Amazing Race, where they proved YouTubers can in fact survive without their computers by finishing a respectable fifth. "We are beyond thrilled to welcome Meghan to the StyleHaul community," said the network's founder, Stephanie Horbaczewski.

YouTube stars Joey Graceffa and Meghan Camarena seemed to be having a lot of fun on "The Amazing Race," so it's a little bit sad to hear the newly eliminated duo discussing their disappointment that the other teams seemed to dislike them on the Race. It wasn't all of the other teams, of course. Joey & Meghan made an early alliance with John & Jessica and Roller Derby Moms Mona & Beth, targeting Hockey Brothers Bates & Anthony, the team they felt [correctly, so far] was the biggest threat. That, of course, left them feeling targeted by Bates & Anthony,...

Joey Graceffa and Meghan Camarena escaped elimination once -- due to Chuck and Wynona McCall's failure to follow a clue properly in a previous leg -- but they weren't so lucky in Sunday night's episode of The Amazing Race. The double U-turn in Scotland resulted in two of the remaining five teams battling it out for the fourth spot: Joey and Meghan and their alliance mates, "roller-derby moms" Mona Egender and Beth Bandimere.
