Ok, high marks to the viewers who saw this twist coming.
Mr. Scratch has been a red herring all season. Instead, it was revealed that Cat Adams was behind Reid's troubles on Criminal Minds Season 12 Episode 21.
And finally, finally, finally Reid was freed from prison.
But he's hardly free.
That's because mini-psycho Lindsey Vaughn kidnapped his mother Diana and disappeared.
Poor Reid! Even his own teammates thought he was delusional.
Of course, that's because he has been quite delusional ever since his arrest. What's real? What's caused by the drugs in his system, and what's caused by his jumbled memories? Who can say?
So when Reid asked for Prentiss' help, claiming that some obscure unsub from a decade ago had abducted his mother, of course, she was a little skeptical.
Just like all the viewers who were thinking, "That's the big payoff? I barely remember her."
Now puzzle me this:...

It's hard to feel sorry for someone who killed close to 10 people.
But I ended up feeling sympathetic for the unsub on Criminal Minds Season 12 Episode 17.
Trey Gordon was himself a victim.
First, his father neglected him to the point where he was molested as a young boy. That left him with several mental conditions with which to deal.
Then the medical establishment failed him as well. He ended up with a drawer full of pills but still no peace of mind. No one would take his call when he realized what he had become, leaving him screaming in frustration.
That's why he was killing night and day, to get out his rage which started right after his father died.
There was a great opening scene when a hunter lining up a shot at Bambi was shot. It was kind of poetic justice.
But it was a really weird setup,...

The biggest story from Pixar's wide-ranging announcement was that Toy Story 4 will be delayed for a year until 2018.
It's rare for movie news to unite all film fans, but it seems like everyone is in a strop about it.
A few people were miffed about the longer wait.
i'm okay with the perpetual fed rate hike delay but not thisssss"@TheIndyFilm: Toy Story 4 has been delayed for a year"

@DisneyPixar I can't believe you pushed back Toy Story 4 for Cars! What kind of business move is that? Stop letting Lasseter call the shots!

Watch carefully, kids. This is the master at work. One British dad's sarcastically painstaking attempt at explaining to his teenage children how to replace a toilet roll has gone viral, apparently tapping into a wellspring of chore-related displeasure. Will Reid told Storyful that he initially posted the video on a private family group for a quick laugh. "I jokingly said to my kids that I would post it wider if they didn't start being more tidy," he says. "They said to go ahead, as I wasn't funny and no one would be interested." Famous last words. The video, posted to YouTube last Friday,...

“These streets…The suffering felt here, is nothing to what comes. It will fall like the red sea…”
Spoilers will feature throughout this review…
Finally, the second series of the Victorian delight which is Ripper Street has arrived. Matthew Macfadyen returns as Di Edmund Reid, paired with his stalwart DS Bennet Drake (Jerome Flynn) and the talented coroner Captain Homer Jackson (Adam Rothenberg) are our heroes in the crime-ridden district of Whitechapel.
With the first series boasting story lines surrounding pornographic snuff films, child assassins, poisoned water supplies, psychiatric conspiracies, Veteran thieves, international terrorism, secret identities and a slavery ring, I was highly anticipating what the show had to throw at us this series. With the mysteries of who the protagonists truly are being revealed in the previous series, some still lay unsolved, In my review of last series’ finale I left readers with a few; “Will Reid find his daughter?...

This is the most heartbreaking story. Two young Philadelphia teachers have died after a terrible car accident. The newlywed couple was pregnant with their first child, and the dying husband pleaded with paramedics to save his wife over him when they arrived on the scene. Unfortunately it was too late for both of them.
Jamie Soukup Reid, 25, and her husband Will Reid, 26, have died following a tragic car crash in Asheville, North Carolina. Jamie was pregnant with the couple’s first child. Perhaps the most heart-wrenching detail of the story is that the first sonogram pics of their baby were recovered in the mom-to-be’s purse after the accident.

Jamie and Will were passengers of a hired limousine in North Carolina when the driver lost control of the car and crashed it into a tree.

After last weeks enticing episode, ‘The Weight of One Man’s Heart’, Detective Sergeant Bennet Drake (Jerome Flynn) had his story told. Revealing his past indiscretions during the Anglo-Egyptian War of 1882 let us understand Drake’s character leaving just Captain Homer Jackson (Adam Rothenberg) and Detective Edmund Reid (Matthew Macfadyen) to have their pasts revealed. This week offered varying parts to add to the ever growing picture of both of the characters jigsaw puzzle past but didn’t allow us what we grasp for, that will be left to the final two episodes. ‘Tournament of Shadows’ offer something different to what you might expect from Ripper Street, stepping from the toll of murder as the greed and despicable desire of a man controlled by lust, money and revenge, Ripper Street went political with the depiction of anarchists, unionists, spies and double agents; all surrounding the London Dock Strike of 1889. We have been crossing our fingers for confirmation that Demi Lovato would be taking a seat next to Britney Spears and L.A. Reid on the judges’ panel of The X Factor, and now TMZ says it’s really happening. Spears just announced her term as judge on Simon Cowell’s show last Wednesday, after months of rumors. Now, sources told the gossip site that Demi’s making an appearance with Britney at the Fox Upfront presentation for advertisers in New York today.
The outspoken “Skyscraper” star and her fellow Disney Channel alumna kind of make this the pop-starriest judging panel ever (no offense, JLo, Xtina, Paula and, er, Nicole). And at 19, Lovato is certainly the youngest judge we’ve seen on a major talent show in this country. Will Reid be able to hold his own against these ladies? We can hardly wait to see when The X Factor returns this fall.
