Josh Aronson (b. 1994, Toronto) is an artist and photographer based in Miami, Florida. He received his B.A. in Philosophy from Northwestern University. His work has been written about in British Journal of Photography, Dazed, i-D, Garage, Vogue Italia, Document Journal, Metal, Venice Magazine, Forum Magazine and others. In 2021, he was named Miami New Times' Best of Miami: Best Photographer.
Aronson's first artist book, "Tropicana", 2020, has been acquired by institutions such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.; Jaffe Center for Book Arts, Florida; The Vasari Project, Florida; Special Collections at University of Miami, Florida; and Civic Media Center & Stetson Kennedy Library, Florida.
In 2021, Aronson debuted "Tropicana", an exhibition at Miami Design District. Recent solo exhibitions also include "Beyond Class" (2022) at Club Gallery in Miami, FL; "I Thought About Posting This" (2019) at Congruent Space in Chicago, IL; and "With Mine Dyed Blue" (2018) at the Nizhny Tagil Museum of Fine Arts with Space Place Gallery in Russia. Recent group exhibitions include "Like a child" (2022) at the New Art Dealers Alliance's virtual program; "Viewfinder" (2021) at Lower East Coast in Miami, FL; and "Sun Pours Daylong" (2020) at the Miami Design District.
