Eston Dunn

Born in the Midwest, raised in the Northeast, Eston Dunn has performed for many years in classical to avant-garde dance as well as the theater scene. He is also a director, writer, and producer, and has participated in a wide variety of entertainments, including performance theater and fashion shows. He began his acting career when, at the age of 7, he appeared as butterfly in a grammar school play; from there, his career took flight landing him musical roles in: Babes In Toyland; The Stingiest Man In Town; to Anything Goes. Comedic roles have come from: Not Now, Darling; Noises Off; A Queer Carol; The Last Hairdresser; and, his very own plays, LipSync and A Dragged Out Haunting. More dramatic roles, Eston has been seen in: The Hostage; Street Theater; SPACE: 2099 (staged Reading); Some Men and his own play, VOiCES. In addition to acting in the United States, Eston has also performed in the Fringe of the Fringe Festival in Toronto, Canada with his own play LipSync. The limelight has also shown on Eston is such movies as: Porky's Revenge 2; Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds In Paradise; Rapture; and Taste It! Besides countless pilots, Eston has been on television: in commercials for Toyota as well as Pelligrino Water; Alfred Dunhill; and University of Phoenix and cameoed in news spots for CBS This Morning and Dateline: Dean Ornish. In 2010, Eston was a guest reviewer on the locally produced show Check Please! South Florida.
Eston began his professional dance career with the Shenandoah Ballet Company and added his voice to the many within the Shenandoah Cathedral Choir. Eston started his writing at the age of 14 and continued through his higher education in the Southeast where he currently resides. In addition to penning the science fiction series "Echelon's End", (all 6 books are available on Amzaon.com's KINDLE) under the pen name E. Robert Dunn, he has also written two off-Broadway plays, "LipSync" and "A Dragged Out Haunting", and penned a local play entitled "VOiCES". In 2008, he was a contributing writer to the online STAR TREK: Odyssey's Season One Finale webisode [featured in Starlog Magazine, January 2008, "Beyond Hidden Frontiers", p.89]. Besides being a produced playwright and published author, he has had health & fitness articles printed in local magazines, newspapers as well as medical newsletters.
Finally, adding to his credits, Eston began a modeling career when he was 17 in New York City for such designers as Willie Smith, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Perry Ellis; also doing runway for the Miami Merchandise Mart, and GayMart. Not camera shy, he has stopped for a few photo shoots for G.Q (Oct. '91 issue), VISaVis (March '92 issue) and for the Doral Saturnia Magazine (Spring/Summer & Fall/Winter '91 issues).
In 2004, Eston was nominated by ArtServe for the Artist of The Year award. He is also the founder of the nonprofit artistic organizations artsUnited, Inc. As an author he as participated in science fiction conventions such as BentCon/Los Angeles, ComiCon/South Florida, et al. under his pen name: E. Robert Dunn (promoting his science fiction book series "Echelon's End").
