- Giorgio Ferrero is an italian composer, director and photographer. Together with Federico Biasin and Rodolfo Mongitore, he runs the multidisciplinary studio MYBOSSWAS where he is creative director. He has composed soundtracks for dozens of films, theatrical performances and installations. He also composed music for the works of Paolo Giordano, Daniele Gaglianone, Gianluca e Massimiliano De Serio, Stephen Fingleton, Marzia Migliora, among others. He collaborated with authors and artists such as Paolo Giordano, Daniele Gaglianone, Alba Rohrwacher, De Serio brothers, Marzia Migliora, Stephen Fingleton. He made many sound and visual installations presented at the Museo del Novecento in Milan, at the Maxxi in Rome, at the Biennials in Bordeaux and in Lisbon, at the David's Museum in Florence. He made graphic visualizations, photographic campaigns and commercials for publishers and brands such as Condè Nast, Nike, Barilla and Alfa Romeo. The short film Riverbero, signed as a writer, composer and co-director, was presented in dozens of festivals like Rome IFF, Glasgow and Brooklyn. At the 74th Venice Film Festival he presented his first feature film 'Beautiful Things', for which he signed screenplay writing, direction and music. The film won the award for Best Italian Film according to the young under 26 jury and the best first feature award at the prestigious Cph:Dox in Copenhagen. The film has been screened in more than 70 festivals all over the world like Viennale, Sydney IFF, New Horizons, Edinburgh IFF, RIDM, Lincoln Center, and has been awarded more than 15 times, realized in more than 10 countries and translated in 16 languages. In Venice he also presented his first short film in virtual reality Denoise made during the shooting of the feature film. Denoise has been presented in important world film festivals like Melbourne IFF, Oberhausen SFF, Hot Docs in Toronto, Doc Liepzig.
