Marc Desaulniers was born on May 3, 1987 from mother Suzanne Blais
and father Mario. Raised in Macamic (small town of northern Quebec)
with brother Philip, they moved to Ville-Marie (another small town of
northern Quebec) when they were still attending elementary school. Marc
was carried in his early days into movie theaters, since his mother
wouldn't pay for a babysitter and brought Marc on her workplace. She
was a movie theater director. In the Fall of 2005, Marc began his
cinematographic studies, which he graduated from in 2010. He qualifies
himself 1 Gay 1 Hétéro as his "first real project". 1 Gay 1
Hétéro got picked for the Image+nation festival which allowed Marc to
step up to the next level. His movie Nowhere has been made on instant
inspiration, shot and edited in a short 48 hours. This movie actually
won the Best Kino RS movie award, and this amongst twenty other films.
