After she first appeared in Attack of the Clones, The Clone Wars would later delve into Barriss Offee's story and her friendship with Ahsoka Tano.
However, as time passed, she became increasingly convinced that the Jedi Order had lost its way. Radicalized, she bombed the Jedi Temple and framed Ahsoka before later admitting she was behind the attack.
That may have resulted in her old friend's freedom, but the damage was done and Ahsoka left the Order...reinforcing Anakin Skywalker's own growing frustrations with his Masters.
Tales of the Empire finds Barriss behind bars. She sees the attack on the Jedi Temple and is later made an offer by Lyn, a fellow Jedi who is now the Sith Inquisitor known as Fourth Sister.

A second season of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi was first announced at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023, and fans have since been eager to see which characters this season’s installments would be about. Would we see more stories from Ahsoka and Count Dooku, or different characters entirely? Nearly a year after it was first announced, we have a first look at the new season, now named Tales of the Empire.
Tales of the Empire will focus on the stories of The Mandalorian and Ahsoka’s Lady Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto) and, to the delight of many, former Jedi Padawan Barriss Offee (Meredith Salenger), who was last seen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

"Star Wars Rebels" is one of the best things to ever happen to "Star Wars." This is an animated show that has become essential to understanding the overall franchise: a show with a great ensemble, different-looking lightsabers, a fantastic fight between Maul and Obi-Wan, and which shone a light on the origins of the Rebellion years before "Andor."
But before "Rebels," there was "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed." This action-adventure video game tells an original story about "Starkiller," born Galen Marek. He is the child of a Jedi who is taken in by Darth Vader and trained as his secret apprentice to track down and kill any Jedi who survived Order 66 -- much like the Inquisitors that would later become canon. Years later, Vader gives his apprentice a new task — to plant the seeds for what will become the Rebel Alliance, which Vader will then use to overthrow the Emperor.

This Star Wars: Ahsoka article contains spoilers.
The end of Ahsoka season 1 is near, and Thrawn’s (Lars Mikkelson) ascendance feels more imminent than ever. Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi), and Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) are finally reunited after nearly a decade, but will they be able to stop Thrawn and still make it home themselves? The Grand Admiral always seems to be a step ahead, but Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) and Shin Hati’s (Ivanna Sakhno) separation may not have been something he predicted, even with the foresight of the Great Mothers on his side.
The fate of two galaxies hangs in the balance as we approach the season finale. Here’s everything you need to know before watching episode 8 of Ahsoka.

This Star Wars: Ahsoka article contains spoilers.
It’ll be a race to the finish line in the final episode of Star Wars: Ahsoka. Both sides want to escape Peridia and return to New Republic space, but in the penultimate episode, “Dreams and Madness,” it really looks like it’s the villains who hold all the cards. While Thrawn has a Star Destroyer, Night Troopers, the Witches of Dathomir, two dark siders, and the Eye of Sion on his side, Ahsoka and friends don’t even have their purrgil anymore. How the hell are the heroes supposed to not only stop Thrawn’s plans of galactic conquest but also get back home? Only showrunner Dave Filoni knows at the moment.
But what Ahsoka, Sabine, and Ezra plan to do to thwart the Grand Admiral isn’t the finale’s only big mystery. There’s also the question of what’s...

The identity of Ahsoka's Captain Enoch and Thrawn's Stormtrooper army may be connected to Marrok and the Nightsisters.
Episode 6 of Ahsoka finally revealed both the mysterious destination of Peridea and a live-action Grand Admiral Thrawn, played by Lars Mikkelsen.
But that wasn't all. Alongside Thrawn was a battered legion of Stormtroopers, including a gold-faced Captain Enoch, and a Nightsister trio known as the Great Mothers.

Ahsoka has wasted no time introducing fans to all kinds of new lore and corners of the Star Wars universe. From bringing Grand Admiral Thrawn to live action for the first time to an extragalactic adventure to the homeworld of the Nightsisters, Ahsoka is taking us where no other live action Star Wars project has gone before.
Then there’s the show’s surprising new take on Imperial stormtroopers, specifically the gold-accented Night Troopers serving Lars Mikkelsen’s Thrawn on Peridia. Presumably, these are the same troopers who were stationed in Thrawn’s fleet when Ezra had them all zapped by purrgil to parts unknown at the end of Rebels, and it’s clear they’ve fallen on some hard times in the decade since.

This post contains spoilers for "Ahsoka" episode 6, "Far, Far Away."
"Ahsoka" is delving into the origins of one of the most interesting factions in the "Star Wars" galaxy: the Dathmiri. This race of space witches made their first live-action appearance in "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace" through the presence of Darth Maul, a Nightbrother of Dathomir who became the Sith apprentice to Darth Sidious (Emperor Palpatine) and was enjoying a nice successful career in the dark side until he was rudely cut in half by Obi-Wan Kenobi. (We'll get back to Maul in a moment.)
Episode 6, "Far, Far Away," reveals that the Dathmiri actually came to that galaxy far, far away from another galaxy far, far away. Their true home is Peridea, a grim planet whose rings are made up of the disintegrating bones of dead star whales. Peridea is the other end of the purrgils' migration path, and the...

Disney’s + latest Star Wars series “Ahsoka” puts the action in live action.
The title character, played by Rosario Dawson, has found herself in lightsaber battles in nearly every episode, facing off against assassin droids, the inquisitor Marrok, Baylan Skoll and even her former Jedi master Anakin Skywalker.
In an interview with TheWrap conducted prior to the SAG-AFTRA strike, Dawson talked about the physicality of the role and the intense training that she underwent to play a former Jedi.
“This character is so physical,” Dawson explained. “And so the training was really important to me. I wanted to train seven days a week. They weren’t trying to get me to train seven days a week, they wanted me to take the weekends off. And I was like, ‘Absolutely not!’ Two hours every single day. Ahsoka continues to push the boundaries of the galaxy we know and love and expand upon the more mysterious elements of Star Wars lore like the World Between Worlds, the Nightsisters of Dathomir, and the prospect of a new galaxy. Last week, Marrok fell at the hands of Ahsoka, Sabine set off aboard the Eye of Sion to rescue Ezra Bridger, Hera defied New Republic orders to help her friends, and Ahsoka seemingly died before reawakening and reuniting with her former master Anakin Skywalker in the World Between Worlds.
With series creator and writer Dave Filoni directing episode 5, we’re guaranteed a huge episode this week, and hopefully we’ll get some answers regarding what exactly the World Between Worlds is, how it operates, and what Ahsoka’s reappearance there means for her future. There’s still a lot we don’t know...

This Star Wars: Ahsoka article contains spoilers.
There never really seemed to be a question of if Ahsoka would bring back Anakin Skywalker – Hayden Christensen’s casting in the series hasn’t exactly been kept a secret – but rather when in the timeline we would see him given Darth Vader’s death in Return of the Jedi. We finally got our answer in “Fallen Jedi,” which sees Ahsoka seemingly fall to her death during her duel with Baylan Skoll, but the end of the episode reveals that Ahsoka has actually somehow been transported back to the World Between Worlds, this time greeted by her former master.
But as emotional as this reunion outside of time and space may be (hearing Anakin call Ahsoka “snips” again definitely had me tearing up a bit), there are some who believe that there’s more than just some Force ghost or time travel shenanigans going on here.

The true identity of former Inquisitor Marrok is a key mystery that Ahsoka fans have been obsessed with solving for the past four episodes. Unsurprisingly, the enigmatic villain sparked many theories.
Some fans believed Marrok to secretly be the new canon version of Starkiller from The Force Unleashed video games, while others were sure it must be Ezra Bridger turned to the dark side. Others even suggested that Marrok could be the former Padawan Barriss Offee who was Ahsoka’s friend before she framed Ahsoka for bombing the Jedi Temple and got her kicked out of the Order. But now with Marrok’s sudden death at the hands of Ahsoka in “Fallen Jedi,” we’re left with even more questions than answers. That said, one clue from his death scene suggests we’re headed toward a particularly horror-tinged twist later in the series…

Ahsoka Episode 4
Many of the things that were great about the first three episodes of Ahsoka are built upon in episode four, “Fallen Jedi.” Ahsoka and Sabine’s continue to mend their relationship, we get to see some much-anticipated lightsaber showdowns, and Ezra and Thrawn are teased…some more. In other words, the episode feels decidedly transitional.
But this isn’t a bad thing! Yes, “Fallen Jedi” isn’t as explosive as the episodes that have come before. It does, however, serve as a nice downshift in tempo for the season as a whole, setting up what is sure to be a pivotal episode five. After all, it ends with the Imperial Loyalists (and Sabine) finally making the hyperspace jump to wherever the hell Thrawn and Ezra are, and Ahsoka coming face to face with Anakin Skywalker in the World Between Worlds.

After fans spent weeks wondering who exactly Marrok was in Ahsoka, the Disney+ show finally revealed who was actually behind the mask.
Similarly to Boba Fett in the original trilogy, Marrok quickly became the “cool” character of Ahsoka due to his double-bladed Inquisitor lightsaber, his all-black weathered armor, and the choice to be a man of few words (but when he did talk that was just as intriguing).
Many fan theories quickly circulated as to who could be behind the mask of Marrok. Names such as Ezra Bridger, Starkiller, and Mara Jade were thrown around, with each having substantial evidence to back up their respective claims.

As Ahsoka, Sabine and Huyang rushed to stop Imperial loyalist Morgan Elsbeth from retrieving Thrawn from deep space, this week’s episode of Ahsoka saw the welcome return of a fan-favorite character.
Picking up where we left off, Huyang worked to restore coms after the T-6 took on extensive damage during last week’s space battle, meaning our heroes were stuck in the red forest on Seatos with no connection to the outside world. In the meantime, Ahsoka and Sabine ventured to find the enemy’s ground base in the hopes of preventing Elsbeth from using the star map.

We have already hit the halfway point in season 1 of "Ahsoka" on Disney+ and, for hardcore "Star Wars" fans, it left us with much to think about. Some deep lore from a galaxy far, far away was touched on, some big surprises were dropped on us, and a few key mysteries began to unravel. One of the biggest mysteries had to do with the Inquisitor Marrok, who had been fighting alongside Jedi-turned-mercenaries Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) and Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno). Marrok's identity had (has?) been kept secretive but episode 4 of the series, "Fallen Jedi," answered some questions in that department while raising several others. Let's dig into it.

Marrok's identity had (has?) been kept secretive but episode 4 of the series, "Fallen Jedi," answered some questions in that department while raising several others. Let's dig into it.
This episode is filled with action as Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) and Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) race to try and get the map from Baylan, Shin, and Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto) before...

There's a new "Star Wars" show centered on a Jedi, and you know what that means: lightsaber fights! They'd best be good ones, too, since Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) is an active Jedi. She's not aging and out of practice like Obi-Wan Kenobi, or utterly absent Force training like so many characters who have tried wielding the Darksaber on "The Mandalorian." Ahsoka's foes are no slouches. Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) and Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno) may not be Jedi, nor formally Sith, but they're certainly Force wielders. The mysterious, masked Marrok, meanwhile, sure looks like a Dark Side-empowered Inquisitor.
In ranking lightsaber battles on the show, we're counting every fight that involves the use of an actual lightsaber. Only one participant need have one for it to count, but training fights without real lightsabers do not qualify, even if the training session involving Ahsoka, Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), and...

The third episode of Disney’s Ahsoka was released today, and it features the Jedi and her young Padawan traveling through hyperspace while chasing an escaped ship when faced with hurdles. In the previous episode, Hera Syndulla put a tracker on a suspicious ship leaving a New Republic shipyard, while Ahsoka battled an inquisitor named Marrok. Today, Ahsoka and Sabine face a number of new threats as fans make some interesting discoveries about the series.

What Does Ahsoka Teach Sabine?
Ahsoka walks into one of the rooms inside the ship they’re traveling in to find Sabine training with the human-turned-droid, Huyang. The Jedi takes the lead and asks Sabine to put on a visor that blocks her vision completely, as Ahsoka plans to train her in the Zatochi method. This Star Wars: Ahsoka review contains spoilers.
Ahsoka Episode 3
Ahsoka’s third episode largely focuses on its climactic multi-stage starfighter battle, which is eye-poppingly entertaining and worth watching the episode for alone. But there are actually several notable interpersonal moments that dovetail nicely with the two-episode premiere and set up what’s yet to come.
Rosario Dawson and Natasha Liu Bordizzo continue to click as Ahsoka and once-again Padawan Sabine, playing naturally off of one another and conveying that their characters are on good terms but still very much readjusting to the master-apprentice dynamic. Huyang adds a bit of humorously toxic pragmatism to the dynamic, which sets Sabine up as a compelling underdog and makes Ahsoka’s belief in her friend and student mean that much more.
The sparring session between the three of them is a cool throwback to Luke and Obi-Wan, and it’s nice to see practical-effects Huyang filmed so…...

This article contains spoilers for "Star Wars: Ahsoka" episode 3 — "Time to Fly"Things are kicking into high gear in part 3 of "Ahsoka." Directed again by Steph Green and written by Dave Filoni, the episode shows the inertia faced by the New Republic when it comes to taking any military action beyond the end of the war. Few seem to believe that Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) could be a threat to the New Republic, and others still think that the specter of Thrawn is just Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth-Winstead) trying to nab all the resources she can get to go on a selfish mission to look for her lost friend, Ezra Bridger (Emen Esfandi). While Hera spends her time arguing with Mon Mothma (Genevieve O'Reilly), the Chancellor of the Republic, another journey is underway. Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson), Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), and Huyang (David Tennant) travel to Seatos in...

While Ahsoka features the return of many familiar Star Wars characters, the first two episodes have also introduced us to some intriguing newcomers, such as the mysterious former Imperial Inquisitor Marrok. All we know about Marrok so far is that he works alongside former Jedi Baylan Skoll and his apprentice Shin Hati as a mercenary for Lady Morgan Elsbeth and is aiding in their search for Grand Admiral Thrawn. But because of his mask, Marrok’s identity is a mystery that Star Wars fans are eager to solve.
That said, eagle-eyed fans think they’ve found the answer to who’s behind the mask. After spotting Sam Witwer’s name under “Additional Voices” in the credits for Ahsoka, the prevailing theory is that Marrok is actually the new canon version of Galen Marek aka Starkiller from the Force Unleashed video game series. While Witwer has voiced other characters,...

All subsequent episodes of Ahsoka will follow the same release schedule, launching on Tuesdays evenings going forward, but you’ll only get one episode this week as opposed to a double-header.

"Star Wars Rebels" concluded its run on Disney Xd back in 2018, but it's still fresh in the minds of a great many fans out there. One, because the show genuinely holds up as some of the best "Star Wars" to come around during the Disney era of Lucasfilm but two, because "Rebels" fans are about to reunite with many members of the Ghost crew in the "Ahsoka" series on Disney+, including Sabine Wren and, most importantly, Ezra Bridger.
That being the case, now feels like a great time to go over some fan theories regarding the young Jedi from Lothal, who disappeared at the end of the "Rebels" finale, heading into the wilds of unknown space with Thrawn. What happened to Ezra? Where did he go? What has he been up to in the years since he disappeared? Is he hiding a terrible secret? Fans have been theorizing ever since the show ended,...

Plot: Set after the fall of the Empire, Star Wars: Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
Review: Disney and Lucasfilm need a win. After the box office drubbing of Indiana Jones and The Haunted Mansion and perceived MCU burnout, the House of Mouse needs badly to reclaim the early success of The Mandalorian. While Andor was critically acclaimed, both The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi were divisive amongst fans and critics. With the industry still at a standstill due to the ongoing writer and actor strikes, the latest Star Wars live-action series, Ahsoka, needs to thrive despite no interviews or publicity from the cast and crew. Luckily, Dave Filoni’s continuation of stories featuring characters from the animated series The Clone Wars and Rebels speaks for itself. Ahsoka is exactly the Star Wars production that fans have been hoping for,...

“Star Wars: Ahsoka,” the highly anticipated live-action series starring Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, debuts this week on Disney+.
Dawson reprises the role after appearing in Season 2 of “The Mandalorian,” though the character made her debut in the 2008 animated film “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and the subsequent animated series of the same name.
Ahsoka is the former padawan of Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen), the Jedi who turned to the Dark Side and became Darth Vader. She in turn had her own apprentice, Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) but the two had a falling out.
“Star Wars: Ahsoka” includes other characters from “The Clone Wars” and its sequel series “Star Wars: Rebels,” including Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Huyang (David Tennant). Although teased, fans have yet to see images of Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfadi) or Anakin Skywalker.
There’s also a slew of new characters, including Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson...

The ‘Ahsoka’ series is now nearing its release date, which means we are now getting more and more information regarding this series. At this point, we don’t know a lot about the flow of the story or what will happen in it. But we do know that reports suggest that Obi-Wan Kenobi might be returning to the Star Wars world in a manner that might not sit well with fans. But trust us when we say that it makes sense.
Ahsoka will be on Mustafar
Back in December of 2022, it was reported that there were scenes that included Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker. At first, fans thought he would reprise his role as the black armor-clad Darth Vader. But the scenes that were shot with Christensen suggest otherwise, as there were reports that Hayden and an actress for Ahsoka (not Rosario Dawson) were practicing for a fight scene that would take place on Mustafar.

Lucasfilm Animation, like so many fledgling studios, took a moment to find its footing. Founded in 2003, the company released its first feature film, "Star Wars: The Clone Wars," in 2008 to much scorn. Critics were quick to recognize the film was little more than three TV episodes hastily strung together, and its janky computer animation stood out like a sore thumb compared to the far more expressive and fluid visuals in films like "Kung Fun Panda" and "Wall-e" from that same year. "Clone Wars" also saw the debut of Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker's young, rambunctious Padawan, and a character who was immediately the target of much-undeserved derision (and more than a little sexism).
My, my, how the turn tables. Jump ahead to 15 years later and Lucasfilm Animation is now responsible for some of the best "Star Wars" storytelling of all time, including the animated "Clone Wars" series and "Star Wars Rebels.

The citizens of a galaxy far, far away sure love their masks and face coverings, don't they? One of the very first things we see in the original "Star Wars" is Darth Vader in his iconic helmet flanked by Stormtroopers in their respective headgear. For that matter, Boba Fett became one of the most popular supporting players in the franchise purely thanks to his Mandalorian helmet and the mystique it projects. It's not just villains and antiheroes, though. Even the sequel trilogy heroes Finn and Rey are wearing masks when we meet them in "The Force Awakens."
From a storytelling perspective, masks are a useful way of getting your audience to wonder who's underneath and what their deal is from the moment they arrive. It creates intrigue and mystery, which is particularly effective when you're trying to build hype for a new "Star Wars" project. That's presumably why the "Ahsoka...
