Exclusive: Heartstopper breakout Sebastian Croft has signed for representation with Anonymous Content.
The British actor has signed with the agency in all areas. He continues to be represented by Greg Herst at UK-based Cvgg and attorney Lucy Popkin at Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher.
Croft is best known for playing Ben Hope in Netflix smash Heartstopper. His character in Alice Oseman’s coming-of-age rom-com has a clandestine relationship with the show’s lead, Charlie (Joe Locke), at the start of the show, but it becomes clear that he is using Charlie and he is often antagonistic towards him.
Heartstopper has made huge stars of the likes of Locke and Kit Connor, who have also landed major agency representation.
Croft is also leading Prime Video’s upcoming rom-com movie How to Date Billy Walsh, in which he will play the lead role of Archie opposite Tanner Buchanan when the movie airs in April.

If you wish the third season of Heartstopper would come out now, you're not alone.
Heartstopper Season 2 Episode 8 left us with one of the sweetest cliffhangers we have ever seen, and if you weren't kicking your feet in the air as Charlie typed those words on his phone, were you watching the same show and, more importantly, are you okay?
We were almost guaranteed to get a third season of the show. Now, the most challenging part is the waiting period.
We have compiled all the information you need about the season as we await the release to tide you over.
Once it comes out, we will update this post with new information, so you might want to bookmark it.
Will There Be a Third Season of Heartstopper?
We could have answered this question in the affirmative one year ago because a show rarely gets renewed for multiple seasons after the freshman has premiered.

Kit Connor is best known for playing Nick in the LGBTQ+ Netflix rom-com series "Heartstopper," which follows teens as they navigate their way through school, their feelings, and their sexualities. While the series itself spotlights LGBTQ+ characters in a beautifully authentic way - giving many of them ample space to come out in their own time - the compassionate messaging behind the show appeared to have been lost on many when Connor was seemingly bullied into announcing his bisexuality.
In a tweet shared late on Oct. 31, 2022, the "Rocketman" star announced that he is bisexual, but he added that he felt forced to come out after being harassed by fans. "back for a minute. i'm bi," the actor wrote. "congrats for forcing an 18 year old to out himself. i think some of you missed the point of the show. bye."

Paris was a great escape from the problems the kids faced in their day-to-day lives, but all things must end, even the best of them.
When everyone left for Paris on Heartstopper Season 2 Episode 6, they had something bothering them, and on return, most had found a solution. With certain issues out of the way, those that arose while in Paris became the main ones.
But before that, everything was okay. It was more than okay. It was near perfect.
Charlie: You should've come. It was really fun.
Tori: My summer is for sleeping, not visiting old museums.
Permalink: My summer is for sleeping, not visiting old museums. Added: August 03, 2023
Nick had more or less come out, and he was freer. Tara and Darcy did not let the issue between them prevent them from having fun, while Elle and Tao took the next step.
Heartstopper Season 2 Episode 7 opened, showing these characters happy and almost content.

Some people's existence is disappointing, and no matter how low we trim our expectations, they can never seem to surpass them.
The Paris trip was on its final leg on Heartstopper Season 2 Episode 6 as Nick suffered some losses but had a major win.
Before the group departed for Paris, Nick had been excited to see his dad when he arrived in the city.
He sent multiple texts, left voicemails, and when his dad finally returned them, Nick was super excited to hear they would be spending some time together.
This was not like other times because he was also excited to introduce Charlie to his dad.
The excitement lasted a short while after they met Stephane. From his demeanor, one would peg him as a fun guy who was quite excited to see his son.
And then he opened his mouth.
The man had no idea about anything in his son's life.

Paris trip day three was as eventful as expected.
Nick had been trying to get in touch with his dad so that they may meet up on Heartstopper Season 2 Episode 5, and after getting no response from several text messages he'd left, his dad finally called.
Everyone who had heard Nick talk French was amazed by his fluency. Charlie didn't know Nick could talk French, and while everyone else was surprised, Charlie's knees nearly buckled as he felt indescribable things for Nick.
French is a language like any other, but there is something about the flow a native French speaker has that makes it feel melodic.
For said reason, many people think it's a language of love, and I'm just like everyone else. French is romantic as hell, and Charlie's reaction was varied.
Nick: Are you… Wait, do you like the fact that I speak French?
Charlie: Oh… It's fine. It's cool.

Who wants to bet Nick will fail the no-kissing-Charlie challenge shortly?
The much-anticipated Paris trip began on Heartstopper Season 2 Episode 4. That meant not one but five full days of unadulterated fun for Truham and Higgs' students.
Being in Paris, however, did not stop everyone from stressing out over the problems they'd been dealing with all term.
The trip also presented a unique opportunity for everyone to confront their issues head-on, and it seemed all would be okay before the trip ended.
Nick and Charlie had been waiting for this trip forever. They had romanticized it in their minds, but it was a bit underwhelming when it finally arrived.
It's pretty clear they'd both replayed different versions of life together in Paris, which isn't surprising.
By then, Nick thought he'd be out to the rugby lads, leaving him free to get physical with Charlie without worry. Charlie didn't want to push Nick to come out,...

Despite being a stressful period where you must study beyond your mental threshold, the end-of-term exam is a joyous occasion. It signals the beginning of a break.
It was an extra special break for Truham and Higgs on Heartstopper Season 2 Episode 3 because the Paris trip was coming up soon, and you know how those are. It's always fun to hang out with your friends and schoolmates in a non-academic setting.
Nick was excited about it because that meant five days with his favorite person in the world, without their parents watching them like hawks.
Five days of romance in the most romantic city in the world. Paris! (Say that in a French accent. Like how the French say it.)
Slight problem, though. Nick was still not out.
Being out is great and all, but like anything else, the obsession with it can be unhealthy.
Nick: Still couldn't come out to any of them.

Family can be and almost always is complicated.
Heartstopper Season 2 Episode 2 focused almost entirely on family and how people within a family unit interact and live with each other.
Charlie was always lucky with his family. They might be the only reason Charlie is alive. Tori always looked out for him, while his parents would do just about anything to make sure he was okay.
That didn't mean sitting around and watching him change the trajectory of his life over a boyfriend.
Romantic relationships can consume someone, making them lose their individuality, fundamentally changing them.
With Nick, Charlie was not relegated to a background character in someone else's story. But there was a problem. Charlie had gotten so engulfed in his relationship that he forgot he had other responsibilities.
I mean, who wants to spend hours on end working on math problems when that time can be easily spent kissing your boyfriend?...

Montages are usually corny and cringe-worthy, but Charlie and Nick had a way of making it seem like so much fun.
We were reunited with our favorite students as a new school term kicked off on Heartstopper Season 2 Episode 1.
Not much time had lapsed since the Heartstopper Season 1 finale saw Nick come out to his mom and got the best response anyone could want.
Being so generously accepted by his mom gave him the courage to come out to more people because that's the thing with coming out -- queer people come out their entire lives.
It is a constant cycle of meeting someone new, forming a relationship, coming out to them, rinse and repeat. It doesn't seem fair, but those are the rules our world has made, and for now, one can't help but play with them.
But before the Nick situation, Charlie was happy. Happier than we'd ever seen him.

In the official full-length Heartstopper trailer that Netflix dropped Tuesday for Season 2 of its sweeter-than-ice-cream LGBTQ+ dramedy, Nick Nelson appears to have moved on. That is, he appears to have moved on from the bubblegum-flavored dessert that boyfriend Charlie Spring quite rightly dubbed a crime during their Season 1 triple date.

As you’ll see in the video above, the new couple remains adorably affixed to one another, although, as we knew they would, obstacles present themselves. For starters, Nick discovers that being bi is easier than telling anyone outside of Charlie’s friend group that he is.

How long has Charlie Spring waited to call Nick Nelson his boyfriend? It seemed like forever, but the end of forever is here.
Netflix released the trailer for the much-anticipated Heartstopper Season 2, and it teases a lot.
Nick and Charlie are having the time of their lives together as they flirt and kiss at every chance.
Charlie can't wait to tell his friends Tao Xu and Isaac Henderson he has a boyfriend; the declaration lovingly disgusts them.
However, there is a small problem for Nick. He's not out to anyone.
The trailer teases his mission of coming out to people, and the first person is Imogen, but before he can say the words, he chickens out.
Charlie comforts him, telling him he should come out how and when he wants.
But the first failure doesn't deter him from making subsequent attempts, and he sets his sights on coming out to the rugby lads (oof!

Many shows are hits in their freshman season. But then the very real sophomore slump sets in when the writers are overwhelmed the decline in quality is noticeable.
The pressure is huge for a show like Heartstopper, where anyone associated with the show would feel the fandom's wrath if the second season didn't live up to the first one.
The Heartstopper cast and creator admitted to feeling it but didn't let that get in the way of doing what they do best. For Alice Oseman, it was writing, and for the actors, it was acting to the best of their abilities.
Heartstopper was a breath of fresh air when it premiered last year, and many viewers from all age groups fell in love with the show and its characters. Season 1 took fans on a great ride that had them begging for more.

Olivia Colman is letting her onscreen son know just how proud she is of him. On Dec. 1, the Oscar winner told Variety just how much she admired her "Heartstopper" costar Kit Connor after he was bullied into coming out as bisexual on social media.

But I'm incredibly proud of him as a young man to deal with all of that and be in the spotlight. It's unfair, but he's amazing. He's a very beautiful human being."

When you turn on Netflix’s new teen romance, Heartstopper, you’ll notice a lot of innocent teenage bliss throughout the eight-episode first season.
