Richard is an American video game audio director, sound designer, music producer, and voice director based in Los Angeles. While studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Richard founded video game audio post-production company Hexany Audio, now one of the industry's leading sound and music production studios for video games and interactive media.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Richard dual majored in Electronic Production & Design and Film Scoring, with minors in Acoustics & Electronics, Audio Design for Video Games, and Video Game Scoring. Richard's credits include numerous games, VR experiences, theme parks, and trailers. Some of these include Jurassic World: Expedition, King's Quest, Disneyland's Smuggler's Run attraction, Star Trek: Dark Remnant, Men in Black: Galactic Getaway, Naruto Online, League of Legends, Blade Runner: Revelations, and many more.
Aside from his work in game and interactive media, Richard also regularly speaks on the subject of game audio. Past lectures include talks for GDC, GDC Europe, GDC Next, GameSoundCon, PAX East, PAX Dev, IndieCade, Gamescom, the Midwest Game Developer's Summit, Sigma Play, MIT, and Berklee College of Music.
