Celine Bassman is a classically trained ballet dancer, studying under Nadege Hottier at Premiere Division in New York City. In 2019 she won 1st place for a contemporary solo and 3rd place for a classical solo at the Royal Dance Grand Prix in Rieti, Italy. Her acting career started when a colleague of her mother's, independent filmmaker Kim Cummings, needed a young girl for a science fiction short. From then on, Celine was often tapped for roles in NYC independent films. When she played Young Carly in "That's What She Told Me," a film directed by her mother, Celine filmed her scenes with a fever of 102 degrees, which wasn't discovered until halfway through shooting. Always a trooper, she took Tylenol, rested for bit, then went back on set and finished her scenes.
