With March almost at an end and April just a handful of days away, Sony has, like clockwork, announced next month’s lineup of free games for all PlayStation Plus members, with an eclectic mix of titles on offer for fans of almost every genre under the sun. As usual, the selection is split between each of Sony’s platforms, with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Vita owners all being treated to free entertainment throughout the month of April, although you’re likely to have already heard about one inclusion, which was confirmed to be a part of the lineup earlier this month.
Hailing from the mind of acclaimed developer David Jaffe, Drawn To Death‘s unconventional gameplay mechanics and memorable art style are both worthy of your free time, as too, are the rest of this month’s selection. Curses ‘n Chaos, 10 Second Ninja and Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime round...

March 15th isn’t a day when one would typically expect an announcement for PlayStation Plus – much like Microsoft and Games With Gold, Sony tends to keep its lineup firmly under lock and key until the month’s end – but Ps Blog unwrapped a welcome surprise today: Drawn to Death, the über-stylish shooter from industry veteran David Jaffe and The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, will headline April’s Ps Plus lineup.
Now pegged for April 4th, Ps Plus subscribers will be able to download the third-person shooter via the Instant Game Collection the moment it goes live, and Jaffe is hoping that the decision to launch Drawn to Death via Sony’s premium service – a tactic that evokes memories of Psyonix and Rocket League – will help garner interest and, ultimately, foster a community.
Per Ps Blog, there’s also mention of five new features that have been added since the game’s testing rounds.

Drawn to Death, the über-stylish multiplayer shooter/brawler in the works from David Jaffe and Sony San Diego, will no longer release as a free-to-play title.
Word hails from PlayStation Blog, where Jaffe posted a rather frank explanation as to why that is, all the while providing new details on the pricing model that the new IP will be adapting when it hits PS4. Still no word on an official release date, but the Game Director did tease that further information was coming soon.
Per Ps Blog:
As you may know, Drawn to Death had been available in a quasi-beta phase that we call Limited Access. During this time we collected a ton of insightful information from the community. After reviewing everything we learned during the Limited Access period, we have decided to officially launch Drawn to Death as a traditional paid title.
