Judith Jones, the editor who changed the world of at-home cooking with her discovery of Julia Child, recovered Anne Frank’s diary from a reject pile, and edited the works of cookbook and literary giants alike, passed away on Wednesday.
According to her stepdaughter, Bronwyn Dunne, her death was the result of complications from Alzheimer’s. Jones died at home in Walden, Vt. at the age of 93.

The Stx action thriller “Den of Thieves” starring Gerard Butler and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will be released on Jan. 19, 2018, the company announced Friday. While no one outside of the Hall H Guardians Of The Galaxy panel at this year's San Diego Comic-Con will get to see the footage (in HD, at least), director James Gunn was not shy about releasing extra details he revealed. In an extensive Facebook post from Gunn, he pretty much broke down all the big pieces of news he dropped. One of them had to do with Kurt Russell'S Role In The Film, and another had to do with a familiar group of outlaws from the first Guardians Of The Galaxy film, the Ravagers.
When we last saw the gang of bandits, they were led by Yondu, who had let Peter Quill after the latter man didn't give the former man one of the Infinity Stones. Gunn went into greater detail in his post as he described the panel.

Upon announcing that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will introduce fans to the Ravagers, James Gunn confirmed at Sdcc that Evan Jones, Jimmy Urine, Stephen Blackehart, Steve Agee, Joe Fria and Terence Rosemore are the actors on board to portray the dastardly crew of interstellar bandits.
Now, we have our first official glimpse at what those characters will look like when they storm onto the scene in May of next year. Taking to Instagram, the filmmaker posted a collection of black-and-white mugshots of his freaks and geeks, which come bearing the names Brahl, Oblo, Scrote, Narblik, Gef the Ravager, Kraglin, Wretch, Half-Nut, and Taserface.

On Saturday night, the notorious Ravagers, led by their newly appointed leader Taserface, hijacked the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 portion of the Marvel Studios panel and caused trouble for director James Gunn and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, & Dave Bautista, albeit in hilarious fashion. Earlier this afternoon, Gunn officially introduced the new-and-improved band of space pirates on his personal Instagram. Hall H played host to a great many presentations yesterday as the industry’s heavy-hitters paraded their wares in front of eager fans. One of those exhibitors was Marvel Studios, setting the stage for James Gunn and Co. to introduce Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
