- Currently a senior at Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlochen, Michigan, Richie has a passionate interest in all aspects of film as well as many other art forms. In addition to being an avid filmmaker, screenwriter and photographer, he also enjoys painting, graphic design and screen-printing. Recently, Richie's Op-Art pieces have been published in the Chicago Tribune & Providence Journal. Also, his short documentary "The Pickle Guys", which takes an in-depth look at one of the last independent pickle shops in America, has been accepted into eight film festivals so far. Richie's most recent film "Absent", his junior thesis at Interlochen Arts Academy, explores the results of a household filled with excessive money, absent parents, and a son, tired of it all. The film is on its way to the festival circuit. In addition to Interlochen Arts Academy, Richie has attended classes at Parsons The New School For Design and The International Center of Photography in New York City and The Jacob Burns Film Center Media Arts Lab in Pleasantville, New York. He has been published many times in the local newspaper, "The Scarsdale Inquirer" and the Scarsdale High School Literary Magazine. He has interned at the New York City Mayor's Office of Media & Entertainment; Nola Pictures and MacGuffin Films; two of the leading video production companies in the advertising industry.
