Russell M. Gallas

Russ received his Bachelor of Theater's Arts degree from the University
of Waterloo, in Ontario, Canada, located just twenty minutes from the
popular Stratford Festival Theaters. He also holds a Master of Business
Management degree from Aquinas College. He has been active in theater
and film as an actor, director, and designer since 1976.
As an actor, Russ' favorite stage roles: "Seymour" in Little Shop of Horrors, "Fr. Virgil" in Nuncrackers, "Mr. Bumble" in Oliver!, "Caleb" in The Spitfire Grill, "Whit" in Of Mice and Men, and "Mitch" in A Streetcar Named Desire. As Director/Scenographer, he has enjoyed producing The King & I, Fiddler on the Roof, Working, and The Music Man
His most recent film work includes a principal acting role the the Compass Film Academy's production of "A Close Shave" in which he appeared as Sheriff Frederickson.
