Alexander Sharp was born in 1994 in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is known for his film, "Wired Shut" (2021), as well as his music videos and commercials. Alexander's debut feature film, "Wired Shut", was distributed internationally by MPX and 101 Films. "Wired Shut" earned three LEO Award Nominations for screenwriting, cinematography and acting. Bloody Disgusting Magazine called it, "a home invasion with heart and emotional tension." After graduating from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, where he studied Film and Television Production and Business, his short film, "Ziggy's Will", screened at Festival de Cannes, Manchester International Film Festival, HollyShorts, Santa Monica International Film Festival and Gig Harbor Film Festival in 2018. "Salvation", Alexander's music video for Josh Jones & Trevor Kidd, was officially selected by over 20 film festivals around the world and has won him awards for the categories of "Best Music Video" and "Best Directing in a Music Video" in Budapest, Munich, and Rome. "Salvation" reached nearly 200,000 views on YouTube and is described by American Cinematographer Magazine as a mixture of, "German Expressionism and Lynchian peculiarity."
