Stephen Colclasure, Jr. (1980) spent most of his childhood in Elizabeth City, NC where he graduated from Northeastern High School (1998). His parents are Stephen (Steve) and Cindy Colclasure. After High School, Stephen attended East Carolina University, The College of the Albemarle (COA '2000) and then back to East Carolina University where he finished a B.A. in Computer Science in 2003.
Stephen met his wife, Amber, in 1999 while attending COA and they were married just 10 months later. They have 4 children.
Stephen started playing musical instruments in 8th grade, adding many instruments to his repertoire over the past 30 years. He is also a singer, announcer and voice-over talent. In college, Stephen worked at the university radio station, WZMB (2002). While at the radio station, Stephen read news and sports, produced and was an on-air personality for two different radio shows and produced live football games when the Pirates played at home.
Upon graduating college, Stephen joined the United Stated Air Force and has since retired serving as both a communications officer and combat systems officer. It was during his tenure in the military that a casting call went out for roles in the Paul Greengrass film, United 93 (2006). He was accepted in the role and has been excited about film acting ever since. A second opportunity arose during a visit home when family member and producer, Brandon Cordon, invited him to join the film crew of the short film, The Perfect Breed (2010), directed and produced by Scott B. Hansen.
Stephen is now a Professional Licensed Auctioneer, active multi instrumentalist and singer looking for more opportunities to jump back into film, television and radio.
A few of Stephen's talents and past/current accomplishments include: Eagle Scout, BSA, Private Pilot, certified SCUBA diver, Class B CDL holder, Lifeguard, firearms handler, voice emulation, singer, instrumentalist, announcer, and radio personality
