Urska Djukic’s Little Trouble Girls, a co-production between five European countries, is among the winners at the Les Arcs Film Festival Industry Village, which handed out its prizes this evening.
The film took the €10,000 post-production services award in the Work in Progress section. Slovenia’s Spok Film and Nosorogi, Italy’s Staragara I.T., Croatia’s Izazov, Serbia’s Non-Aligned Films and France’s Sister Productions are all producing the film.

10 of the selected projects are live-action films, with one animation and one documentary.
Cinekid Script Lab, the European initiative for the development of children’s films, has picked 12 feature projects for its sixth edition, featuring more than 50% women across the selected teams.
The six-month script workshop will begin during the Cinekid for Professionals event in Amsterdam (Oct 21-25) and runs through to the Berlinale in February 2020.
A total of 10 of the 17 writers on the list are women, while nine of the 19 producers are female. There are no directors attached at this stage.

The UK’s National Film and Television School (Nfts) has named the 20 participants who will take part in this year’s industry talent scheme Inside Pictures.
The programme, which is open to applicants from around the world who demonstrate a commitment to the European film industry, is a business training and leadership skills development initiative that selects execs from across the film industry.
This year’s group includes experienced personnel from the sales, distribution and productions sectors. They hail from Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, Us and UK.
