Issa Rae‘s new company wants to hook up creators and brands for “deeper relationships” beyond the usual influencer-sponsor connection.
Ensemble has already built a network of 50 creators including Drew Afualo, Leo González, and Mark Phillips, and is working with brands including Pepsi, Chili’s, and Popeyes.
Per Business Insider, Ensemble is founded by Rae but is meant to be separate from her public persona as a much-lauded writer, actress, and producer. The company is led by a group of advertising vets–Ian Schafer as cofounder and president, Matt Berger as head of revenue, and Keith Lee as head of revenue operations.
Montrel McKay, the president of development and production at Rae’s studio Hoorae, told Bi the pitch for Ensemble is that it works closely with creators to help them package their content for brands.

Rapper Cardi B set out to test her foodie limits and had instant regret. She recently shared a TikTok video of herself trying balut, a fertilised duck egg dish popular in the Philippines. The rapper, who has ventured in the food space with her spiked whipped cream brand Whipshots, started her food tasting video as she paid an homage to TikTok’s food critic Keith Lee, reports People magazine.
“I’ve been seeing this for a long time, it’s called balut. I got it, let’s try it and rate it from 1-10,” she said, copying Lee’s well-known TikTok intro. “This egg is huge! Like this egg is giving two yolks.”
However, before she took a bite, she popped pills including Pepto Bismol to “protect the stomach.”
“I have a very sensitive stomach,” she said, quoted by People. “Now, let’s start it off.”

TikTok has recapped an eventful year on its platform. The app known for short-form videos has shared a year-end recap that highlights girl dinner, Keith Lee, and everything in between.
On TikTok, the year-end rundown differs from similar lists compiled by rivals like YouTube. On the Google-owned platform, MrBeast‘s multi-year run as Top Creator suggests that a site-wide culture still exists. But on TikTok, the results look a little different. The top video of 2023 was a makeup video from creator dollievision, and if you’re not into cosmetics, you may not have seen it. But that didn’t stop dollievision from pulling in 37.5 million likes on her viral smash.

For the second year in a row, Instagram is drawing attention to some of its most impactful Reels stars. The Meta-owned platform has highlighted 24 tastemakers — including Keith Lee, Jesser, Fuslie, Katie Feeney, and Landen Purifoy — by publishing its 2023 Creators of Tomorrow list.
The Creators of Tomorrow are separated into five categories. Short-form innovators like Jesser and Katie Feeney are two of the names in the “Ig Besties” category, though YouTube might have an opinion about that. Lee can be found among a quintet of creators who are “Raising the Bar” with their accomplishments. Lee’s influence over the food world has become so strong that his visit to Atlanta sent shockwaves through the local dining scene.

When Keith Lee visits major U.S. cities, his 14.5 million TikTok followers expect him to provide unbiased reviews of trendy restaurants. Lee’s trip to Atlanta offered exactly that — plus a lot more. The food critic’s takes on local dining customs have ignited a debate about Atlanta food culture and sparked a conversation about the power of the “Keith Lee effect.”
Lee, a former Mma fighter, has gained widespread influence thanks to his honest opinions, his no-nonsense rating system, and his insistence that he should be treated like a normal restaurant patron. His namesake effect refers to the traffic and sales boosts that go to the eateries he endorses. After Lee teamed with Chipotle on a special creator menu, the chain’s sales went through the roof.

Chipotle‘s recent TikTok-inspired menu additions led to two of its biggest digital sales days of all time.
The famously creator-friendly burrito chain put the Fajita Quesadilla on its permanent menu in March, after TikToker Alexis Frost (2.5 million followers) posted a “hack” video where she added Chipotle’s fajita veggie mix–aka peppers and onions–to its default steak quesadilla.
Her video got more than 30 million views and, according to Chipotle, generated more than 47,000 comments and 69,000 shares of “viral TikTok content” related to the (at the time) off-menu item.
@alexis.frost @alexis.frost this has been one of my faves ever since it was suggested . #mrsfrost #chipotle #quesadilla #foodie #foodtok #fastfood ♬ mario sound – mandycap
Chipotle responded by updating its menu to let customers add fajita veggies to any quesadilla for free. It also added the option to get its honey-chipotle vinaigrette with any quesadilla order. That option was inspired by TikToker Keith Lee,...

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features nine matches this week and plenty of Canadian talent. We’ve got regulars Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary as usual. So let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Skye Blue def. Tfa (Taryn from Accounting)
My Thoughts: This was a pretty decent and competitive opener for this week’s show and both women delivered throughout the match. Great to see Tfa get some exposure via Aew too.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Jake Hager def. Adam Knight
My Thoughts: Adam Knight looked like he might give Jake Hager a run for his money, especially given how competitive the previous match was, but no. This was a squash of the highest order with Hager eventually hitting Knight with a Vader Bomb to get the win!
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #3: Emi Sakura def. Zoe Sager...

For as long as Chipotle has existed, patrons of the fast-casual chain have attempted to “hack” its menu. The popularity of unusual burrito orders has only increased since the advent of TikTok, where viral Chipotle hacks have received billions of views.
The chain is now acceding to consumer trends by adding a TikTok-approved hack to its official menu. Customers can now order a “Fajita Quesadilla Hack” with their choice of meat. The dish can also be turned into a “Keithadilla” by adding chipotle-honey vinaigrette and sour cream on the side.
The Fajita Quesadilla hack was popularized by Alexis Frost, who gave high marks to the improvised menu item after sharing it on TikTok last December. Another short-form foodie, Keith Lee, improved upon Frost’s original idea by adding his favorite pairing of Chipotle condiments — and thus, the Keithadilla was born.

Welcome to this review of a special pre-All Out Aew Dark: Elevation. We’ve got Tony Schiavone and Matt Menard on commentary for this bonus episode so let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo def. Gpa and Laynie Luck
My Thoughts: The only thing I took away from this match was that a) I’m tired of the Sammy and Tay schtick and b) How the f*ck does that pair get three matches in two weeks whilst Eddie Kingston is stuck with one match on the All Out pre-show? Screams a desperate attempt to squash the “Sammy is har to work with” rumours Tbh.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Swerve in our Glory (Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee) def. Jah-c and Storm Grayson
My Thoughts: Swerve in our Glory get a quick tune-up match prior to their All Out...

Mia Yim poses for an Instagram selfie for fans. Pic credit: @miayimofficial/Instagram
Ahead of a huge championship opportunity, Mia Yim captivated fans with her latest image featuring a stunning bikini and a powerful pose.
The 33-year-old wrestling star stood with both hands on her hips, wearing a white bikini with cutouts on the top and bottoms revealing plenty of skin.
Mia also wore black boots, which had straps up to just below her knees, as part of the bold look while posing outdoors on what appeared to be the upper level or stairway for a residential complex.
Along with her short purple hair, she accessorized with a silver chain around her neck and a bracelet on one arm.
The Impact Wrestling star only used a clock or time emoji for her caption and a tag for the photographer Illite Fotos.

Match #1: Jon Moxley def. Mance Warner
My Thoughts: This was a drag-down, knock-out fight. Mance Warner promised a fight and that’s what both men delivered. Moxley made Warner look badass, giving him room to show his stuff to the Aew crowd and fans not familiar with his time in Mlw and on the indies. This match was also given plenty of time to tell its story, with small subtle actions from both men really giving this opener some depth.
My Score: 4 out of 5 Match #2: Konosuke Takeshita def. Ryan Nemeth
My Thoughts: With a title match on Saturday against Claudio Castagnoli, Konosuke Takeshita succinctly and...
