When Jack Carr was tucked away inside a rental in Coronado, California, typing up what would be the first of five novels centered on a Navy Seal commander named James Reese, he zeroed in on a short list of dream collaborators if the book was ever adapted.
After all, the plot seemed prime for adaptation as the first entry, The Terminal List, tracks Reece after his entire platoon was ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. As new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life, but the lives of those he loves.

Amazon Prime Video has released the first trailer for the upcoming series “The Terminal List,” which stars Chris Pratt.
Having not read the book on which it is based, the show feels a lot like the kind of hard-edged, extremely violent, surprisingly character-based exploitation films Arnold Schwarzenegger made in the 1980s in between the blockbusters and franchise films that made him a star.
So it feels appropriate that his son-in-law, Chris Pratt, who has basically turned into what can only be called Dad Bod Arnold, stars in the series — his first TV series regular role since “Parks and Recreation.” And well, the show’s action-packed trailer dropped this morning.
Watch it now — and enjoy the moody, sad, Action Scene edit of Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” — in the player above.

Wu will play the “risk-seeking” war correspondent Katie Buranek. At a crossroads in her career and looking to re-enter the mainstream, Katie finds an unlikely ally in Reece as she seeks to bring the truth about the conspiracy he’s fighting to light.
The “Fresh off the Boat” alum joins Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch in the series, which is an adaptation on the Jack Carr spy novel of the same name.
The series follows ex-Navy Seal James Reece (Pratt) after his entire platoon is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Per Amazon, “Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life but the lives of those he loves.”

Just when you thought the Graceland residents’ antics couldn’t go much darker, the USA Network drama’s Season 3 finale crossed a “very, very dark line,” series creator Jeff Eastin acknowledges.

In the wake of the Homeland Security sweep that nabbed Martun Sarkissian on a domestic terrorism rap, Briggs & Co. came to realize that the only loose end in selling the bust to Special Agent Logan was Ari, who knew exactly all that had transpired in recent weeks.

It ain’t easy living in Graceland.
Just last week on the USA Network drama, de facto team leader Paul Briggs (played by Daniel Sunjata) was shot in the leg by one roommate and slugged by another, after his Machiavellian manipulations and super-secretive ruses put his pals in jeopardy again and again.
Briggs is even at the root of comparatively mild-mannered Dale Jakes’ (Brandon Jay McLaren) new dilemma, seeing as the Ice agent “peeled off” some greenbacks during his latest bust, to serve as “get gone” money should “sin eater” Briggs need it.

This story contains major spoilers from the Graceland finale. If you haven’t watched, turn back now.
Did that just happen?!
That’s what many Graceland fans may have screamed at their televisions at the close of the season 2 finale. It’s a natural reaction considering the show has seemingly killed off its main character and said goodbye to series star Aaron Tveit.
Here’s how it all went down: Mike’s plan to take down corrupt FBI agent Sid Markham was about to come to fruition. What he didn’t know, however, is that Sid had discovered Graceland, effectively blowing Briggs’ cover,...

Graceland, Season 1, Episode 10: “Smoke Alarm”
Written by: Daniel Shattuck
Directed by: Charlotte Sieling
Airs Thursdays at 10 pm (Et) on USA
On this week’s Graceland, Mike’s cover is blown, Charlie continues hunting Odin, Briggs buries a body, Jakes pays his ex-wife a drunken visit, Paige remains suspicious, and Johnny loses his temper.
Unnecessary flashback aside, “King’s Castle” opens strong with a tense, music-free montage of Briggs hiding the body of the undercover officer he’s just killed. For the first time this season—even after the discovery of his (former) heroin addiction—Briggs no longer feels like a hero, let alone a character worth rooting for. His desperation to keep Odin’s identity secret causes him to frequently act out of character, something Charlie, arguably the smartest agent in the house, definitely notices. None of the house members are innocents, except maybe Johnny,...

Back in February I had the opportunity to visit the Graceland set with a handful of other reporters. While on the ground in Miami, we observed shooting, rummaged around the impressive sets and spoke with all the stars. Each of whom kept returning to a similar sentiment: that the show truly hits its stride with episode five, which happens to air tonight!
Titled O-Mouth, the episode features Mike getting deeper into Bello's organization, while Briggs and Charlie resume their former identities as a sexually-charged couple to get intel on a mysterious drug supplier called Odin. A situation that star Manny Montana says will help clearly define the next stretch of episodes!
ETonline: In the last episode Johnny made a big, almost lethal, mistake. How does he grow from that?
Manny Montana: Johnny was the newest person in the house before Mike moved in, so he still makes dumbass mistakes. He thinks...

On this week’s Graceland, Mike takes the lead on Briggs’s Bello case, Charlie holds down the fort while making pasta sauce, and the thus far underdeveloped trio of Paige, Jakes, and Johnny finally get their hands on a quality storyline.
After four episodes in, Graceland‘s made successful attempts to fully remedy the pilot’s lack of well-rounded characters; at this point, everyone’s finally been given chances to shine and develop into equally-worthy members of the Graceland team. Even Charlie, sidelined this week to make her allegedly world-famous pasta sauce, is given a handful of decent scenes with both the whole crew, as well as individual moments with Briggs (where he shows a rare moment of emotion over Mike’s surprise moment...
