Investigative Broadcaster in Residence, American University in Washington D.C., Program Director for the Journalism and Digital Storytelling MA Program, Halsne has been on television for 30+ years. He's helped manage special-projects news divisions in Seattle, Denver, and Oklahoma City. He's been awarded the Society of Professional Journalists Sigma Delta Chi award for investigative reporting, three National Press Club awards, a dozen regional Emmys, and a national Edward R.
