The UK’s Sc Films International is launching the feature animation Neighbourhood Pet Watch at the European Film Market (Efm) next month.
Sc FIlms has worldwide rights to the CGI-animated family filmwhich is a UK-China production and was developed in-house at the company.
Neighbourhood Pet Watch is about two puppies who team up with the local neighbourhood pets to thwart an evil gang attempting to take over their beloved city.
The lead producers on the project are Simon Crowe of Sc Films, Feng Yi and Stephen Meier. Meier wrote the screenplay with Jake Greene.

Described as a classic cat and mouse story of sworn enemies, the film will follow Nipsy the mouse and her family who have a happy life in an abandoned house that just won’t sell. That is until a ruthless property developer sees potential in their run-down space and sends in two eager cats to chase the mice out of their home. Cast has yet to be set.

London-based sales outfit Sc Films International, which specialises in family animation, has begun production on its latest project, Around The World In 80 Days, and will launch the title in the market at Cannes.
The animated feature is a loose adaptation of Jules Verne’s classic novel, which has been adapted for the big screen on numerous occasions, including notably in 1956 starring David Niven, and in 2004 starring Jackie Chan.
The latest version will be a 3D underwater adventure based on the characters from Sc Films’ previous productions The Reef: Shark Bait and The Reef 2: High Tide [pictured].

Monty Python legend Terry Jones is set to direct family animation Sherlock Hound And The Case Of The Missing Santa Claus (3D), which Simon Crowe’s Sc Films has boarded ahead of the Afm.
Jones, who most recently directed Simon Pegg and Kate Beckinsale in UK comedy Absolutely Anything, is due to direct the feature with his producer-director son Bill Jones and his business partner Ben Timlett of UK production outfit Bill and Ben Productions, which is also producing.
Writers are Denis Higgins and Stephen Meier.
The Victorian-set story will feature canine sleuth Sherlock Hound on the hunt for Santa Claus after he goes missing.
Characters in the script include The Queen, a polar bear Father Christmas, Elves as penguins, Rudolph the Reindeer and evil feline Moriarty.
Currently in development, the production is aiming to shoot next spring for a Christmas 2018 release. Casting is due...
