After a huge cliffhanger ending to Season 3, Amazon officially announced the release of Upload Season 4 in March 2024. Throughout Upload Season 3, Nathan (Robbie Amell) struggled with a rogue copy vying for Ingrid’s (Allegra Edwards) affection, while his relationship with Nora (Andy Allo) was constantly, yet only satirically, jeopardized by the presence of the backup copy. And just when things seemed to stabilize and both Nathans were finding their happy endings, Horizen — the company behind Lakeview — was exposed, and its employees were forced to delete any unauthorized copies of uploaded clients, including Nathan’s. Upload Season 3 ended

Prime Video is headed back to Lakeview one more time. The Amazon streamer has picked up a fourth season of Upload, which will be the final chapter for the high-concept comedy series created and executive produced by Greg Daniels. The renewal of the Amazon MGM Studios-produced show, starring Robbie Amell and Andy Allo, comes three months after the Season 3 finale was released Nov. 10.

Upload stars Robbie Amell, Andy Allo, and Allegra Edwards shared their thoughts on the show’s big Season 3 cliffhanger.
The new season focused mostly on Amell’s Nathan Brown as he downloaded into a physical body for the first time since his death. In doing so, he got to experience life in the real world with Allo’s Nora, something he had only dreamed of previously.
At the same time, however, a duplicate Nathan was copied and uploaded into Lakeview—bringing two versions of the character into existence. To say it was complicated is to put it lightly.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Upload Season 3, Episode 8, “Flesh and Blood.”] Upload‘s third season has come to a close, leaving fans waiting for some answers after yet another cliffhanger surrounding loves, Nathan (Robbie Amell) and Nora (Andy Allo). After bringing a case against Horizen for copying uploads illegally, the pair ultimately win the case, but as they’re exiting the court, Nathan is handcuffed and taken away by Horizen employees as downloads haven’t been legalized. In other words, despite Nathan being in the real physical world, he isn’t seen as a person by law. This squashes any possible plans he and Nora had for their immediate future until we learn in the finale’s final seconds that the digital copy of Nathan still living at Lakeview and currently engaged to Ingrid (Allegra Edwards) is also in limbo, as one version told Nathan’s loved ones that only one of them is allowed to exist. But...

The season three finale of Amazon Prime Video’s “Upload” is upon us, and it’s time for the Lakeview crew to go a bit rogue. But before they’re willing to help Nora’s Horizen angel pal Aleesha out, they have some demands.
In TheWrap’s exclusive sneak peek of the episode, Aleesha (Zainab Johnson) recruits Luke (Kevin Bigley), Tinsley (Mackenzie Cardwell) and of course, the ever helpful AI Guy (Owen Daniels) to assist with a “risky” plan — one “that could possibly get you in trouble.” It’s unclear what that plan is, but given Aleesha’s efforts to help Nora (Andy Allo) during her brief imprisonment, hopefully she’s helping once more.
You can watch TheWrap’s exclusive sneak peek of the episode in the video above.
That said, both Tinsley and the AI bellhop have some demands. First and foremost, AI Guy wants some jeans.

For Dave Rogers’ turn in the season three Upload directors chair, it was all about perspective.
The episode sees downloaded Nathan (Robbie Amell) and backup Nathan meeting for the first time in the Gray Zone, the duo working together to get Luke (Kevin Bigley) out of prison in the Gray Zone following a failed attempt at selling an AI Guy (Owen Daniels) for extra cash. “Rescue Mission” also predominantly features a new (and endearing) turn in AI Guy’s testing, helmed by Aleesha (Zainab Johnson).
Meanwhile, Ingrid (Allegra Edwards) is once again battling her insecurities as she reunites with old — and shallow — friends during a VR workout class. And Nora (Andy Allo) finds herself juggling her and backup Nathan’s feelings, while trying to uncover why her real Nathan was “given over the counter fart pills” to stop his head from exploiding on his downloaded body.

In Upload‘s version of the future, where people live and work is horrifying.
To be fair, creator Greg Daniels’ mind isn’t entirely responsible for season three’s terrifying visions of what society’s personal and professional spaces could be amid the rapid expansion of tech and digital life. Much of the responsibility for this bleak-looking future — the secret upload call center, temporary temp agency and “Reduced Circumstance Housing” where Nathan (Robbie Amell) and Andy (Andy Allo) come to stay with his mom (Jessica Tuck) — in episodes three and four were based on real concepts and places tied to homes and offices.

[This story contains major spoilers from the Upload season three premiere “Ticking Clock” and second episode “Strawberry.”]
In the season three return of Greg Daniels’ genre-mashup Upload, a dangerous voter suppression plot begins to unfurl.
For those who haven’t been consistently following the Prime Video series, that story element alone would seem confusing. The sci-fi comedy stars Robbie Amell as computer programmer Nathan Brown, whose consciousness is uploaded into a virtual afterlife called Lakeview by his girlfriend Ingrid Kannerman (Allegra Edwards). But once there, he begins to develop feelings for Nora Antony (Andy Allo), his “Angel” — a living, breathing personal afterlife assistant who works for Lakeview’s parent company, Horizon.
For two seasons, the show primarily existed as a rom-com that juggled big issues like classism, the growing impact of AI and VR, and what it means to be “alive.” It was funny and heartfelt, but also smart and unnervingly timely. It has remained all of that (particularly the timely part), but with one major plot...

Control-Alt-Delete your weekend plans. The brilliant science fiction comedy, Upload, which takes place in a dystopian version of our world where no one ever truly needs to die (for the right price), logs back on after a year and a half offline. When we last saw him, Nathan (Robbie Amell) — the murdered tech bro whose consciousness was uploaded into the costly virtual Lakeview afterlife resort in the series opener — had downloaded into a cloned body of himself. This allowed Nathan to finally get physical with his Lakeview case worker/love interest, Nora (Andy Allo). (Credit: Prime Video) Unfortunately, it also put him in massive danger, since the still-faulty downloading process tends to cause subjects’ heads to explode after a short while. With the clock ticking, “that’s definitely a concern,” director and supervising producer David Rogers says, adding that Season 2’s finale did close on Nathan — shortly after sleeping with Nora — experiencing a nosebleed.

The sci-fi-rom-com series ‘Upload’ has now been renewed for a Season 3, with a new trailer just being uploaded. The new season of the popular sci-fi-rom-com series finds itself on a dramatic turn as AI collides with real life, as the AI generated Nathan tries to have a real life with his service handler Nora.
The trailer for ‘Upload’ has a very deceivingly standard American rom-com tone, and to the average person it will look like just another sit-com like ‘Friends’ or ‘How I Met Your Mother’. But ‘Upload’ has been very different conceptually.
For the unversed, ‘Upload’ is a sci-fi comedy series set in a distant future where death is not permanent, as the deceased can ‘upload’ their consciousness into a digital avatar in a digital afterlife, enjoying all the comforts of a new AI life called Lakeview, provided they can afford it.

The story starts off with Nathan Brown,...

Is it cheating if it’s another version of your boyfriend? That’s a question posed in the Upload Season 3 trailer. The Prime Video sci-fi comedy returns on Friday, October 20, with two episodes dropping weekly through the finale on November 10. And as the trailer shows, things seem to be going well for Nathan (Robbie Amell) and Nora (Andy Allo), finally together … until they’re not. The series from Greg Daniels is set in a technologically advanced future where, upon dying, you’re “uploaded” to a virtual reality afterlife and can enjoy all the comforts of a world-class resort, if you can afford it. Season 3 begins with Nora and freshly downloaded Nathan navigating their relationship, while racing to stop the mysterious conspiracy that threatens to destroy millions of lives. Can they shut down Freeyond, and finally have a real life together? Or is it just a matter of time until Nathan’s head explodes?...

At the end of “Upload” season 2, things looked very good for Nathan (Robbie Amell). Having finally escaped from the virtual afterlife known as Lakeview by downloading himself into a clone body, he seemed bound for Irl relationship bliss with Nora (Andy Allo). Yay! Except uh oh, his nose started bleeding — which means the download is going to fail.
Well, we’re now just a month out from the Oct. 20 premiere of “Upload” Season 3 on Amazon Prime Video, and based on the new trailer, it looks like death is just one of the headaches Nathan needs to deal with. Because now he’s competing for Nora’s affections with himself — or rather, himself from 6 months earlier.
It seems relationships are easy enough to start, but maintaining them takes work. But Nora really likes Nathan. Luckily — if you can call it luck — someone freaked out when they discovered he had escaped from...

For the fans of ‘Upload’, there is good news as those waiting for Season 3 of the sci-fi comedy series won’t have to wait long; it will premiere on October 20, 2023. The show has released its official first-look images for its new outing. The series will pick up the threads of Season 2 and will explore new character arcs and story lines.
Set in the not-too-distant future, ‘Upload’ imagines a world in which death isn’t the end of consciousness. Instead, people can choose to “upload” themselves to a digital afterlife where they can continue living on, including maintaining contact with their loved ones and enjoying all the amenities the digital afterlife offers. Of course, the fee for that is exorbitantly high.
‘Upload’ Season 3 picks back up with Nora and freshly downloaded Nathan as they navigate their relationship, while racing to stop the mysterious Freeyond conspiracy that threatens to destroy millions of lives.

“Upload” Season 3 is now loading, and will be here soon. The Greg Daniels series has officially revealed that it will return to Prime Video this October — and it’s bringing twice as much Robbie Amell.
When last we left Nathan (Amell) and Nora (Andy Allo), they were finally, blissfully together, in the actual real world. With help from Ingrid (Allegra Edwards), Nathan was downloaded into a new body, effectively bringing him back to life — for now.
In the final moments of the Season 2 finale, Nathan’s nose began to bleed, which is typically the first sign that a download is failing, and his head will quite literally explode. So, in Season 3, the show is set to pick back up with Nathan and Nora racing the clock, hoping to save not only Nathan, but everyone who is threatened by Freeyond.

Well, this is some exciting TV news.
Prime Video has announced Upload Season 3 will finally premiere Friday, October 20, 2023.
In a shift from the rollout strategy the first two seasons used, two episodes will be available weekly.
That means you'll have to wait a month longer if you plan on binging, but seriously, more shows should adopt the weekly strategy.
The binge is good at the time, but then the conversation is over in one fell swoop.
There's plenty of fun in store for fans of the hit comedy series.

Assassin is a sci-fi thriller directed by Jesse Atlas starring Bruce Willis and Dominic Purcell.
Assassin leads us, admittedly poignantly, to the terrible conclusion that a science fiction film can be anything but pedestrian.
And this one has that terrible flaw – that it contains no new ideas other than in its initial premise.
The rest, scenes strung together are more or less well done.
Assassin Film Review
It starts out from a good idea that, carried forward with absolutely no originality, limits itself to ticking off the passing minutes and burning itself up upon the assumptions of a thriller that, scene by scene, is not bad, but lacks substance when viewed as a whole.
A film that does not want to, does not know how to – or just simply fails to – stand out and make an impact, a film shot with the lightness of a professional who performs a routine,...

It has been rather bewildering to witness no less than two dozen low-budget action movies involving Bruce Willis being churned out over the last three years. That legacy-dimming run ends with “Assassin,” which arrives almost exactly one annum after his family announced a retirement due to diagnosis of cognitive disorder aphasia. Like nearly every preceding opus featuring the erstwhile global superstar in roles of prominent billing but little screentime, this rote genre exercise is little more than a time-killer, and as such a regrettable close to a significant career. Saban Films is releasing it to U.S. theaters, digital and VOD platforms on March 31.

It’s finally here, unless there’s something stashed away and kept secret, Assassin is the last film featuring Bruce Willis. Given the quality or lack thereof, of most of his later career output it seemed almost pointless to hope that he would go out on a high note, working with Jesse V. Amazon Prime Video's "Upload" is a multi-genre series that blends science fiction with comedy, romance, and the supernatural. Set against the background of the afterlife, the show tells the story of a man who dies and is uploaded to a "digital afterlife program." After Nathan's (Robbie Amell) untimely death in a tragic accident, his consciousness is uploaded into an after-death virtual living facility called Lakeview. The romance between Nathan and Nora (Andy Allo), the living customer service angel he interacts with through his hologram form, also makes the crux of the story. The futuristic society functions with complicated, advanced technology at the center and comes from Emmy-winning writer Greg Daniels, who is known for his creative work on popular comedies such as "The Office," "Parks and Recreation," and "King Of The Hill."
The show's first two seasons are currently streaming on Prime Video, and "Upload" has been renewed for a third season.

"It's time to come home." Saban Films has revealed an official trailer for an action movie called Assassin - winner of the most generic and uninteresting titles for any movie in the last few years. Just call it anything else than this!! Bruce Willis stars as the man who creates futuristic microchip tech that enables the mind of an agent to inhabit the body of another person to carry out covert missions. When a man dies during this experimental military program, a former black-ops soldier, who also happens to be his wife, takes his place using the tech to find out who killed him. Yet another of these Willis movies where it doesn't seem like he knows the movie he's in. The cast includes Andy Allo, Nomzamo Mbatha, with Dominic Purcell and Mustafa Shakir. This looks so bad, not only a ripoff story but the filmmaking quality is just awful.

If you've never seen the Amazon Prime series "Upload," the premise is pretty simple. When someone is on the verge of death, they have the ability to upload their consciousness into an online afterlife ... for a price. No, we literally mean for a price, because while "Upload" is in large part a feel-good romantic comedy, it's also a pretty scathing indictment of class and capitalism, since how much you can afford to pay determines the quality of your life after death.
The show drew comparisons to another show about the afterlife, "The Good Place," given the similar premise and comedic vibe. It was a natural comparison, after all, given "Upload" creator Greg Daniels and "The Good Place" creator Michael Schur worked together on both "The Office" and "Parks and Recreation." But for the most part, that's where the comparisons end.

Netflix and Blumhouse have parted ways with Lexi Alexander’s “Absolute Dominion,” a sci-fi martial arts film led by Patton Oswalt, Alex Winter and Julie Ann Emery.
An insider confirmed that Netflix will no longer distribute the film, while Blumhouse is no longer attached as a producer. Though the decision wasn’t easy, said the insider, they support Alexander finding another distributor.
Set in 2085, the movie centers on a futuristic martial arts tournament in which the victor wins absolute dominion for one religion. Greenlit by Netflix in April of this year, the Nevada shoot wrapped in August and the film is now in post-production.
Writer-director-producer Alexander did not directly comment on the decision. However, she retweeted the news with the message “Don’t worry, it’s not bad news. But here are the leads…” above images of four cast members.

Netflix will no longer distribute and Blumhouse Productions will no longer produce “Absolute Dominion,” a science-fiction martial arts drama from filmmaker Lexi Alexander.
Netflix greenlit the movie earlier this year, with Jason Blum and his Blumhouse Television banner on board to produce. It’s unclear why the two companies departed “Absolute Dominion,” but the filmmaking team is seeking new distribution. Principal photography took place this spring in Nevada. The project already wrapped filming, and it is currently in post production.
“Bill and Ted” actor Alex Winter, Patton Oswalt and newcomer Désiré Mia star in the violent, post-apocalyptic film, which takes place in 2085 A.D. after the world has been destroyed by religious warfare. Desperate to save humanity, global governing forces host a gripping, no-holds-barred, martial arts tournament. The last fighter standing wins Absolute Dominion for one faith.
