Nicholas Kyriakides is a Greek Cypriot composer and film maker born and
raised in the heart of London. After completing a B/A honors course in
Digital Lens and Media, Nicholas began as a self-taught post production
artist focusing on his passion for Visual FX. At the age of 21 he
entered his first film competition in the states with the film 'Truth
or Dare' becoming the competition winner. Rewarded with the $500 prize, he
then went on to take on the entire post production for EMI Records and
Century Media's artists, 'In This Moment's, Call me', and 'Paradise
Lost's, Faith Divides Us, Death Unites Us'. After showcasing his
talents as a capable post production artist, he joined a team at the
National Television and Film School to work on a short animation called
'Cooked' as a compositor. Shortly after the film's completion, it was
awarded the official selection of Cannes 2010 and the only film for the
Cinèfoundation section be selected in the UK.
Nicholas collaborated with Director Nathan Theys to form a high end film production company, 'Film Creatives'. Since then, Nicholas has been involved in creating the official anti-bullying film for the UK in 2012, the official Formula One commercial for the Middle East in 2013 and venturing to new creative challenges that create a positive influence around him.
