Supernatural took viewers back to 1944 last Friday, paying tribute to The Untouchables and airing a generally fun episode.
What did our Round Table team of Carissa Pavlica, Kate Moon and Sean McKenna think of the time travel? What were their favorite scenes? Read the Q&A below and chime in with your take on these questions...
--------------------------------
What was your favorite scene or quote from the episode?
Carissa: The repeated references Dean made about the Untouchables, down to "I'm never watching that movie again." Still makes me laugh.
Kate: I found Dean and Sam's banter about anime hilarious. It is an underrated "art" form. Looking for more anime... or are you strictly into Dick now?
Sean: I loved all the Untouchables references as well. It was hilarious watching Dean try to fit in and everyone looking at him like he was crazy. The Chicago Way? Who talks like that?

Supernatural was mired in mourning last Friday, returning to The CW with a new episode that focused heavily on Bobby's passing.
In this edition of the TV Fanatic Round Table, staff writers Carissa Pavlica, Kate Moon and Sean McKenna pick apart "Adventures in Babysitting," debating topics that range from Frank to the brothers splitting up... again.
--------------------------------
What do you think of Frank?
Carissa: Who's Frank? The guy who put Dean in the cherry picker? I think he's fun! Love how Dean just fell under his orders like a good boy and was doing whatever he needed. Almost as if he needed an older man in his life to take the place of Bobby. Like it felt good to have someone thinking he was an ijit.
Kate: In a way he reminded me of Bobby... that is, if Bobby went a bit more loony and lost more of his marbles.

Supernatural ended 2011 on quite the emotional note, giving Round Table panelists Carissa Pavlica, Kate Moon and Sean McKenna plenty to discuss in this week's edition of the popular feature.
As always, readers are encouraged to chime in with answers to the following "Death's Door" related questions...
--------------------------------
What was your favorite scene or quote from the episode?
Carissa: Overall, I thought it was beautiful how hard he tried to get back to Sam and Dean to tell them something he knew they needed to know to survive. His own life be damned, in the end it was only their future that concerned him.
Kate: I loved journeying through all of Bobby's memories, bad and good, but I have to hand my favorite scene to watching Dean and Sam deal with Bobby's impending death. Sam was the rational, in-charge brother as Dean looked particularly lost during the episode. As much as it affects both boys,...

Welcome to the latest edition of the Supernatural Round Table!
Below, Carissa Pavlica, Kate Moon and Sean McKenna break down "How to Win Friends and Influence Monsters," an episode of this CW hit that took our favorite pair of siblings into the woods of New Jersey. As always, reader feedback on the following topics is encouraged...
--------------------------------
What was your favorite scene or quote from the episode?
Carissa: "You don't shook Bambi, jackass. You shoot Bambi's mother."
Kate: Damn, Carissa, you took my favorite quote! A close second would be the waiter who called Sam "Big Bird"; Dean "Ken doll"; and Bobby a "creepy uncle." Totally awesome. Waiters have been pulling some heavy weight on Supernatural lately!
Sean: I agree with both Carissa and Kate about those lines, but I jumped when the turducken infested cannibal woke back up and laughed when Sam, Dean and Bobby unloaded an unnecessary number of bullets into it.

Sam got married, sort of, on Supernatural last Friday night, as "Season 7, Time For a Wedding" poked fun at TV shows' unflinching desire to incorporate such events in one form or another.
How did our Round Table team of Carissa Pavlica, Kate Moon and Sean McKenna like the episode?
Glad you asked. Read through their discussion below and, as always, jump in with your thoughts:
--------------------------------
Did you enjoy the wedding premise?
Carissa: No. I will start right out and say this was one of the worst episodes of Supernatural in years. Bringing back that annoying Becky wasn't fun or quirky. I hated it.
Kate: I found it to be pretty entertaining but it could've been done better. I really enjoy Supernatural's meta episodes and expected that Becky's return would be far more interesting. There wasn't much of a set-up going into it so it was a little confusing in the beginning.

Welcome to the latest opportunity for a TV Fanatic staff member to defend one of our Best Teen Couple nominees. If you missed previous editions, so far...
Carissa Pavlica has shown love for Delena. Matt Richenthal has explained his affection for Soby. Eric Hochberger has dared to love Dair. Dan Forcella has taken a step Forwood. Leigh Raines has pulled up a Chair. Renate Sellitti has clamored for Klaine.
Now, Kate Moon is here to shine a light on Stelena. Do they have your vote? She'll try to convince you below...
Forget comparisons between The Vampire Diaries and Twilight and True Blood. Elena is no Sookie or Bella, thank goodness.
In a world as supernatural as Mystic Falls, this young woman manages to remain grounded, portraying believable teenage angst at every turn. Sure, who wouldn't want to be caught between two sexy brothers like Stefan and Damon? But instead of...

Ghosts returned to Supernatural last Friday, as "The Mentalists" took viewers into a town full of psychics. How did our Round Table team of Carissa Pavlica, Kate Moon and Sean McKenna respond to the episode?
So glad you asked. Read through their discussion below and, as always, jump in with your own thoughts...
-------------------------------------------
How creepy are ghosts? Have you missed dealing with these supernatural spirits?
Carissa: I love ghosts and these two were no exception. The way they move and are all of a sudden in front of you. It was a great break from the Leviathans.
Kate: I love the ghosts in Supernatural. For some reason they seem creepier than other demonic creatures since they were just normal humans at some point. I like seeing the ones from Dean and Sam's past dealings, so keep them coming, I say!
Sean: Ghosts can be super creepy and Supernatural knows...

Double trouble came to Supernatural last Friday, as Dean and Sam found themselves on the FBI's Most Wanted List.
From predictions to analysis, our Round Table panel of Carissa Pavlica, Kate Moon and Sean McKenna has gathered below to pick apart "Slash Fiction," as all readers are encouraged to pull up a chair and chime in...
-------------------------------------------
What was your favorite scene, moment or quote?
Carissa: Hands down it was Dean singing Air Supply. I watched it over and over and couldn't stop laughing. You were spot on in your review, Sean, comparing it to the Eye of the Tiger moment. Historic! Second runner up would be the scene when the fake bros were discussing how much they hated real Sam and Dean and being stuck in their skin.
Kate: I thought the episode was really hilarious. Supernatural is really good at breaking the fourth wall and making fun of itself,...

Supernatural staged a Buffy the Vampire Slayer reunion last week, but did the appearances by Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters make up for a subpar episode?
That is just one of many topics debated by Round Table panelists Carissa Pavlica, Kate Moon and Sean McKenna. Pull up a figurative chair and join them below for an in-depth discussion of "Shut Up, Dr. Phil."
-------------------------------------------
What did you think of James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter’s Buffy reunion?
Carissa: I loved it. I thought there was potential for them to become recurring characters because they obviously know a thing or two about the Leviathan.
Kate: I thought it was awesome! As a diehard, long-time Buffy fan, I was totally psyched to see Spike and Cordy reunited! Of course both are great actors, but I thought there was an element of familiarity and chemistry between the two that might have come from working with each other.

Welcome to the latest edition of the Supernatural Round Table!
Following an episode that placed Dean on trial for his sins, panelists Carissa Pavlica, Kate Moon and Sean McKenna have gathered below for a dissection of "Defending Your Life." As always, reader feedback is greatly encouraged. Let's get right to it, shall?
Does it feel weird that the brothers are back to working cases?
Carissa: No. I've always loved their case of the week episodes. Some of them were my favorites. It's time for them to regroup a little, deal with their magnificent issues and kick some supernatural ass.
Kate: Actually, it feels pretty natural. This season's been all about returning to basics and the brothers are going back to their roots. I also like that it's interspersed with the larger Big Bad Leviathan of the season so that there's still an arc.
Sean: I agree with both of you.

Sam and Dean returned to hunting as a tandem last week on Supernatural, a welcome development that earned "The Girl Next Door" a 4.0 rating from our critic.
But there's a lot more that can be said about the installment, which is why staff writers Carissa Pavlica, Kate Moon and Sean McKenna have gathered below for the latest edition of the Supernatural Round Table. Won't you join them?
-------------------------------------------
What did you think of Jensen Ackles second time as director?
Carissa: I honestly don't know enough about directing to know if he did well or not but acting in what your directing has to be a challenge no mater what. Additionally, at Comic Con, Jared Padalecki said that Jensen was a great director because he knows the characters so well and what it takes for each actor to reach their moment.

Did that really just happen on Supernatural?!? The latest episode, "Hello Cruel World," delivered yet another shocking conclusion to viewers, leaving our Round Table panel in a hurry to dissect, analyze and pontificate.
Join Carissa Pavlica, Kate Moon and Sean McKenna below as they tackle a number of topics from another suspenseful installment of this CW favorite...
----------------------------------------------------------------
Castiel’s death: Too soon or the right time?
Carissa: I don't believe it. There has to be a catch because there is no way in the world Misha Collins is allowed to leave Supernatural. Though it was indicative of his good nature to off himself instead be the Leviathan's plaything.
Kate: Noooo, I refuse to believe that Cas is dead! Supernatural is all about the meaning of life after death, right? He's coming back!
Sean: Way too soon. One minute he was God, next minute he was controlled by Leviathan, and poof,...

Just how exciting was the Supernatural season premiere?
It has prompted three staff members, including main Supernatural critic Sean McKenna, to gather around for the first-ever TV Fanatic Round Table dedicated to this CW favorite. Below, Sean is joined by Carissa Pavlica and Kate Moon as they dissect "Meet the New Boss." Won't you join them?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Holy Cas! What did you think of that ending?
Carissa: Amazing performance by Misha Collins. He has always been a favorite, but I could see within minutes that he's merely been skimming the surface of his talent. I cannot wait for more of the Leviathan.
Kate: When fried-pickle-chips-loving Death mentioned the "Leviathan" it definitely got my attention. And seeing Cas so maniacally ecstatic under the influence of Leviathan definitely signals a whole new era for Supernatural!
Sean: I was so prepared for the new “God” storyline that the twist took me completely by surprise.
