Adam Gierasch (Night of the Demons, Autopsy) is in post-production on his latest film, Schism, and we spotted some sales art for the thriller at the American Film Market. Written by Gierasch and Jace Anderson, the film stars Callum Blue, Vinnie Jones and Ashlynn Yennie.
Blue plays Dylan White, who leads a normal, if boring, life. Having woken from a coma 8 months before with absolutely no memory of who he is or where he's from, he's looking to start again with as little drama as possible. He has a job that takes no effort and a girlfriend that gives the right amount of commitment to fit easily into his purposefully empty life. He is just fine with rolling along, going with the flow, until he begins unexplainably sliding between our world and another dimension; a world filled with unimaginable horror sand one in which he has no control.

Even during his one brief moment in the sun, Jeff Buckley was the quietest of rock idols. He had the voice of an angel, and he would stretch that voice out, high and tremulous and almost unearthly in its delicacy, his rapid vibrato making him sound, at times, like a human theremin. When he sang a song like Nina Simone’s great “Lilac Wine,” he lingered on phrases and gave them an indulgent vocal caress, slowing the already slow song way, way down, as if he were trying to merge with each note, each phrase of soft despair. This wasn...

The first images from Adam Gierasch and Jace Anderson's new flick Schism are here, and just as we predicted, they're filled with perversion, lunacy, and overall mayhem. How we love this duo. Huzzah!
Written by Adam Gierasch and his partner Jace Anderson (both of whom teamed for Night of the Demons and Autopsy), with Gierasch once again in the director's chair, Callum Blue ("Smallville"), Vinnie Jones (Snatch, Midnight Meat Train), and Ashlynn Yennie (The Human Centipede) are all set to star.
Schism follows "Dylan White," who works as a cook in Baton Rouge, and his girlfriend, "Brandy". Things are great for our duo until strange events prompt him to seek out the truth about himself -- following clues, Dylan discovers that he has a dark past in New Orleans. Can he right his past wrongs and find redemption for his sins?
Look for more on this one as we get it!

Earlier this year, director Adam Gierasch stepped back behind the camera for Schism, a new film he penned with Jace Anderson (the duo previously gave us the Night of the Demons remake and Autopsy).
The film stars Vinnie Jones (Midnight Meat Train), Callum Blue (Smallville) and Ashlynn Yennie (The Human Centipede, Human Centipede 2).
The synopsis goes like this, you can find the pics inside... Having woken from a coma 8 months before, Dylan White is leading a normal life. He has absolutely no memory of who he is or where he’s from, so he’s trying to start again with as little drama as possible. Adam Gierasch and Jace Anderson are our kind of sick. Known for making flicks that are riddled with perversion, lunacy, and overall mayhem, we couldn't have been happier when their latest project, Schism, was announced last October. Speaking of which... the train is getting ready to leave the station with a damned fine cast already attached.
Seven Arts announced today that principal photography on Schism will start on Monday, January 16th, in New Orleans.

Two of our favorite filmmakers, Adam Gierasch and Jace Anderson, have another project brewing that's guaranteed to be laden in perversion, lunacy, and overall mayhem. That is, in fact, part of the reason why we love them so much!
Word has come down the horror pipleline that Gierasch (pictured right) and Anderson are reteaming for Schism, which begins lensing next month in New Orleans for Dark Arts and Seven Arts Entertainment.
Even cooler, the film is being shot on Super 16 so you know it's gonna look really friggin' cool. Schism follows "Dylan White," who works as a cook in Baton Rouge, and his girlfriend, "Brandy". Things are great for our duo until strange events prompt him to seek out the truth about himself -- following clues, Dylan discovers that he has a dark past in New Orleans.
