- Joanna Jakubas is a crossover vocalist, who graduated in Vocal Arts from the Manhattan School of Music in New York (Bachelor of Music) and in Advanced Vocal Performance from the Royal College of Music in London (Master of Music). She worked with famous international musicians, including Jan A.P. Kaczmarek (Oscar for the original soundtrack of "Finding Neverland" in 2004) and Ennio Morricone (Oscar for the original soundtrack to Quentin Tarantino's "The Hateful Eight" in 2016, Academy Honorary Award in 2007). In December 2021, she released the album "Carols 21" including such songs as "White Christmas". In April 2022, Joanna released her first studio album "My New Wings", which features the world's most beloved songs in new arrangements. The album was recorded in London at AIR Studios Lyndhurst, one of the world's largest recording studios, and at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, where such music greats as The Beatles, Pink Floyd and U2 recorded their greatest albums. The London Symphony Orchestra, one of Britain's leading orchestras and one of the top five orchestras in the world according to Gramophone, was invited to participate in the project. The album's music producer is Jan A.P. Kaczmarek - a world-famous Polish composer and Academy Award winner for the original soundtrack of the film "Finding Neverland" (2004). The album was arranged and conducted by Nick Ingman whose work as an arranger has accounted for 14 No. 1 singles and five double platinum albums in the UK.
