- Interned at MTV Networks for two summers during college and met Steven Tyler of Aerosmith.
- Was photographed for i-D magazine on her 27th birthday by Daniele Duella and Iango Henzi. Supermodels Shalom Harlow and Guinevere Van Seenus were featured in the editorial as well.
- Won a small scholarship in high school for co-directing a student/teacher production. The original production (Rent) couldn't be performed, so instead a variety show was put on.
- She is of Italian, Irish and English descent as well as Welsh, Scottish, and Norwegian.
- She has over 6 years of horseback riding experience and has won the blue ribbon in competition.
- Elise played soccer (left-wing) and volleyball (setter) in middle school and high school. During her senior year she opted to pursue the theater and video-arts extracurricular clubs and became a member of Thespian Troupe 2035.

- Elise can juggle balls, clubs and even fire clubs. She learned this and other circus skills at the Sports & Arts Center at Island Lake Camp in Pennsylvania.
- Elise's first role was playing Violet Beauregarde at the Tyler Place Camps in Vermont.
- Elise is related the the poet Robert Browning, and her name appears in one of his poems.
- Elise received the first Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, The Social Network) fellowship while attending Syracuse University. Her first time ever visiting Los Angeles was thanks to Mr. Sorkin.
- Her grandfather and great-uncles worked with the Teamsters on many films including The Miracle Worker, Taxi Driver, Splendor In The Grass, Raging Bull and Meet Joe Black.
- Besides her family, she credits Smithtown High School with getting her hands in the arts. Any and all photography, filmmaking, acting or literature electives occupied a large portion of her schedule. Her other favorite subjects were history and English.
- During her junior year of high school, she was allowed placement in advanced Shakespeare and literature courses normally reserved for seniors.
- Had dreams growing up of joining the circus and spent many summers performing in circus and theater shows with the Sports and Arts Center at Island Lake Camp in Pennsylvania.
- Many of the idiosyncrasies found in Elise's work, especially Petals, are taken from her own life. Her father, Edward, really does put ice-cubes in his milk, and once served Elise and her brother unseasoned, microwaved chopped meat and called it meatballs.
- Wales holds a special place in her heart, mainly for the unexpected comedy, dreams and food she experienced while vacationing there with her family as a young teen. She recalls it as being, "a very vivid and idyllic time" in her life.
- While in high school, she was accepted into and attended Ithaca College's film and theater summer conservatory. She later went on to attend Syracuse University where she received a degree in Film-Drama.
- Is left handed but will usually take a righty stance with certain bat/stick sports. This is partially due to her practicing with her brother's righty sports equipment when she was younger.
- 'Full Moon' starring Bill Irwin and David Shiner was the first Broadway show she ever saw. During the show, her family was seated in a theater box and unexpectedly became part of the show. Elise's jacket was thrown out of the box and into the audience and she was temporarily 'kicked out" of the box by the silent performers.
- Grew up in St. James, a middle-class hamlet of Smithtown, New York.
- In 2016, Elise had a supporting role in Redfoo's "Booty Man" music video. However, this was not her first time working on a music video. In 2010, she was an unseen background dancer on Day26's music video "Girlfriend.".
- She acted opposite Eliot Glazer (Broad City, Younger) in a high school theater production and stage-managed several shows he was in. Other notable people to graduate from her high school included Jai Rodriguez (Queer Eye For the Straight Guy) and Illana Glazer (Broad City).
