The Massachusetts Independent Film Festival hopes to incorporate a couple of blocks of horror films in 2013 so if you're a budding indie filmmaker and have a project you'd like to submit, now's the time to do it! The 3rd annual Miff has officially announced its call for entries.
The early bird deadline is March 1, 2013, but if you're still putting the finishing touches on your film, don't worry. The regular deadline is May 1, 2013, with a late deadline of June 3, 2013.
Here's how Miff co-director Christopher Di Nunzio (he runs the fest with Jason Miller and Nolan Yee) describes it:
We are a truly independent festival. We are dedicated to showcasing a wide variety of films from all genres. Everything from dramas and art house fare to horror and thrillers that some festivals unfairly ignore are welcome here. We give real independent filmmakers a chance to screen their work and interact with a broad audience.
