Boom. Here's your first look at Eddie O'Keefe's upcoming period crime drama about two young lovers on a cross-country road trip to La to kill the "King of Rock n Roll" called Shangri-La Suite.
The film stars Emily Browning (Sucker Punch) and Luke Grimes along with Chris Hutton and Ashley Greene as Priscilla Presley.
This look like just the right kind of dark and damaged and I love the trajectory of Emily Browning career. From Sleeping Beauty to God Help the Girl, she's doing some pretty interesting stuff.

Australian actress Emily Browning has had a fairly varied filmography, and some of her roles have certainly exploited her good looks on screen ranging from Zack Snyder's "Sucker Punch" to the often disturbing "Sleeping Beauty".
Currently out doing promotional rounds for the Tom Hardy-led UK crime drama "Legend," Browning spoke with The Guardian and says she's done being eye candy on screen and/or playing a vapid love interest role. The trouble is, it's a role that is fairly common in studio films and one she's had to do herself at times (eg. "Pompeii"):
"I'm so determined not to play the hot babe that doesn't say anything, that can't have an opinion, but it's so difficult to resist all of that. Hollywood movies are made for white men, and that's something I think about and which bothers me all the time."

At the tail end of last year, Gregory Burkart presented you with his top 10 favorite horror inspired music videos of the year, a gory collection of horrific imagery mashed together with delightful sounds; a combination that I personally can't get enough of. Be sure to go back and check out his picks, if you missed that post or just want to re-watch some kickass videos.
Today, I've queued up ten more awesome horror-themed music videos that I think you're going to like. So instead of sitting here and talking to you any further, I invite you to turn up the volume and dig in!
Franz Ferdinand: "Evil Eye"
This here is actually the video that inspired this whole list. Released just a few days ago, Franz Ferdinand's new video "Evil Eye" is an absolute must-watch, a blood-soaked ode to those cheesy '80s shot-on-video horror flicks that we all love so much.

Every year, film executive Franklin Leonard releases his list, called The Black List, of most-liked unproduced screenplays in Hollywood. This year's list was compiled from the suggestions of 290 film executives, each of whom picked up to ten of their favorite scripts. Since the list started in 2004, many screenplays ended up being turned into films. In 2005, two of the top three scripts were "Lars and the Real Girl" which was nominated for Best Original Screenplay Oscar, and "Juno" which actually won the Oscar. See the 2012 Black List below, broken up by how many votes each screenplay received. Some of the projects are already in the works. 65 - Draft Day (Rajiv Joseph, Scott Rothman) On the day of the NFL Draft, Bills General Manager Sonny Weaver has the opportunity to save football in Buffalo when he trades for the number one pick. Each winter, before award season hits its fever pitch, we are offered an insight into what could be the season's future contenders thanks to the release of The Black List, a compilation of the scripts that are deemed extraordinary by Hollywood execs, and yet are presently unproduced. Past Black List offerings include such Oscar winners as The Social Network, The King's Speech, and Inglourious Basterds, so scoring a coveted spot on the List insures a project substantial buzz. In the case of Chris Hutton and Eddie O'Keefe's When The Street Lights Go On, this has led to the 1980s-set crime drama becoming the latest screenplay to be plucked from the List and put into production. Though early reports had Whip It-helmer Drew Barrymore attached to direct When The Street Lights Go On, Deadline reveals Anonymous Content, the production company behind Winter's Bone and The Beaver, has signed noted...
