JEZABELLA Aka Jezabel Kipp
Bass-player, Singer, Songwriter and Leader of "The JazzyBell Project", her
4-piece Fusion/Groove/Acid- Jazz Band.
Her song "UTOPIA" from The JazzyBell Project first Album: "Downtown Brooklyn"
was #1 on MP3.com, several times on its first year of release and got acclaimed Press
(San Francisco Times), for her eclectic arrangements of Horace Silver classic: "Song
for my Father".
Based in Manhattan for 15+ years, Jezabella was a full-time performer in NYC Rockalternative
and trip-hop, drum n' bass, jazz scene, including personal projects and
member with various established House Bands, (Don Hill's, Knitting Factory, Chicago
Blues...)
Jezabella studied jazz ensemble improvisations at the popular music schools: Henry
Street Settlement, The New School and attended Movie Scoring and Arrangements
classes at "The New York Conservatory of Music".
Recently re-located in Las Vegas from Los Angeles, she is working on the JBP 4th
Album and is now getting ready to meet new musicians to form a "Vegas" Quartet
with high energy to grow here within the Casino's network and music community.
In a career that has taken her to perform, tour and record with musicians like The
Gypsy Kings, Jesse Johnson, Steve Ray Vaughan, Michael Ray, The Bloodhounds, Clive
Stevens, Julian Lennon, The Reverend Trible, DJ Spooky, opening for David Bowie,
Midnite Oil or Emerson Lake & Palmer and the great Jazz pianist Don Pullen, just to
name a few and many other amazing Artists and Musicians, she is looking forward to
be part of the musician Vegas community.
In Hollywood, Jezabella kept active playing bass with her unique style of
improvisation collaborating regularly with numerous Artists/Bands in her Studio or
Live Shows at The Key Club, Viper Room, Whiskey, Cat Club, Rainbow and more.
Now in Las Vegas, Jezabella is enjoying collaborating with local Artists/Musicians,
playing Bass and/or producing music at: www.noisegatestudio.com, her new
recording studio located Southwest at Blue Diamond.
