Twice Berlinale winner, Petros Silvestros is a London based director who studied film at the London Film School. In 2015 he became the first ever director in the history of Berlin International Film Festival to win twice and in two consecutive years the Crystal Bear, for Best Short Film. His short film ''Mike'' was also the first British film to ever win this award. In 2016 he was appointed as member of the Berlinale's International Jury for the Features and Short Films of Generation 14 plus.
Won Best of Fest and Best Thriller Awards at the Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2015.
He is the first ever director in the 65 years of Berlinale's history to ever win twice and in two consecutive years the Crystal Bear for Best Short Film.
