Last year, The Hollywood Reporter launched the annual New York Power Broker Awards, bestowing honors on the market’s top sellers and savvy marketers. For 2023, THR is announcing winners in two categories and the nominees for such accolades as penthouse sale of the year and real estate rising star. The winners in nominated categories will be announced on THR.com in July.
Team of the Year – Winner
Douglas Elliman’s Eklund | Gomes Team, which did $4.6 billion in residential deals in 2022.
Philanthropic Impact – Winner
Ryan Serhant of Serhant, for his support of the American Cancer Society, The Ali Forney Center (for LGBTQ youth) and Feeding America, among other charitable organizations.

As real estate agents have won fame on reality TV, they’re also securing representation in Hollywood. Former Million Dollar Listing star Steve Gold is with CAA, WME reps Buying Beverly Hills‘ Mauricio Umansky for literary and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles‘ Josh Flagg is with Gersh (for branding), while Selling Sunset castmembers who have agents include Heather Rae El Moussa (APA) and Chrishell Stause (UTA, which also reps Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Tracy Tutor and Mdl alum Ryan Serhant).

Break up the boys club. When “Million Dollar Listing New York” returns to Bravo on May 6 for Season 9, the show’s first female broker, Kirsten Jordan, will join the series, TheWrap has learned. Jordan’s debut episode will have a supersized runtime of 75 minutes.
