Arthur Baum

Born approx. November 20, 1982 in perhaps, Miami, Florida. Moved with
family to Charlotte, NC, where he attended Providence High School until
graduating in 2001. Applied to Harvard University and MIT, with
acceptances to both. Attended Harvard in the fall of 2001. After
graduating Harvard, Baum went on to study at the University of Southern
California where he got a degree in the sound field and participated on
the ultimate Frisbee team. After a stint in lecturing at USC, Baum
moved back to Charlotte and is now an AP/IB Physics teacher. Throughout
his professional career, Baum has had a plethora of side projects,
including, but not limited to, co-authoring a Higher Level Physics
Textbook, sound mixing for the films listed above (and TV shows such as
Finding Big Foot), and is completing an on-line teaching certification
program via NC State. "Mr." Baum is a much beloved faculty member at
Myers Park, where he is involved in many a school-spirited activity.
