Hot on the bloody heels of recently wrapped horror battle film Raze, Cinipix and Slater Brothers Entertainment are set to produce another gritty action/drama feature, The Devil’s Ink. Raze producer Kenny Gage and Devon Downs have written and are set to direct the film, which will go into production in October. Todd Slater and Andy Pagana, also of Raze, are slated to produce.
The Devil’s Ink cast includes Raze’s Zoe Bell (Oblivion, Django Unchained), Rj Mitte (Breaking Bad), Robert Lasardo (Death Race, Nip/Tuck), Richard Cabral (End of Watch, Southland), Sandra Vergara (Fright Night, God Bless America), Shayla Beesley and Louis Iacoviello.
When sexy ex-con Samantha Black (Bell) finds her Venice Beach tattoo parlor at the center of a scandal involving two dirty cops and the sex trafficking of underaged girls, her retribution is swift, bloody — think Cohen Brothers on ‘roids and Red Bull — and hardcore to the bone.

As a young man, he assisted a cross-dressing alien in evading the feds in Spielberg’s 1982 smash-hit E.T. The Extraterrestrial and was told to “Stay gold, Ponyboy,” in Coppola’s 1983 drama The Outsiders. He made famous the battle-cry ‘Wolverines!’ in John Milius’ 1984 Cold War flick Red Dawn and as ‘Jim Halsey’ nearly ate a french-fried finger in director Robert Harmon’s 1986 horror classic The Hitcher. Years later, and with nearly 150 titles to his credit, C. Thomas Howell sat down with us to discuss with candor his varied career as well as his role in Steven R. Monroe’s upcoming feature MoniKa. Director: Alex Bram.
Writer: Shayla Beesley, and Alex Bram.
Body of Work is a Panic Attack Film that looks at artistry, blood-letting and the desires of the very twisted Jack Vogler. Directed by Alex Bram from actress Shayla Beesley's script (Perkins 14), Body of Work is the best horror short these eyes have seen. Clocking in at twenty-three minutes, the fact that this film does not have distribution is more shocking than the final horrifying scene.
The film begins with model Haley (Leah Ann Cevoli) practically begging to go topless for artist, black magician, and murderer Jack Vogler (Justin Dray). The intrigue begins here and continues ten years later when new homeowners, Mark (Joe Russell) and Carly (Yasmine Zapp) discover Vogler's paintings hidden in an shadowy shack. The paintings hold some of Voglers female subjects within the lines and colours of his artistry, forever trapped in dark magic. But when...
