Born with a VISION, and a love for the arts, Kacee Devoe dreamed of being a filmmaker as a child. While studying English Literature/Arts, she landed an internship on the star studded indie feature "BlackOut", starring Michael B. Jordan and Jeffrey Wright. The internship transitioned into a Casting Director position in Los Angeles.
Kacee teamed up with Artios Award winning Casting Director Leah Daniels-Butler and was part of the casting team for "The Paperboy" starring Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey, "Lee Daniels' The Butler", starring Oprah Winfrey and Forest Whitaker, and the record breaking television series "Empire" on Fox starring Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard.
Thoroughly impressed with Kacee, the shows creator and Academy Award Nominee Lee Daniels, offered her an Executive Assistant position where she worked side by side with Daniels, shadowing, assisting and managing affairs for his company Lee Daniels Entertainment.
After her tenure with Daniels (Empire Season One), Kacee started an independent production company, RQE STUDIOS, and her directorial debut CrossRoads premiered in the Cannes Film Festival. Shortly after, she directed "Blackness", a music video highlighting race, identity and appropriation. She later produced videos for UK's mega artist (KSI, Offset), which garnered a combination of 29 million views. She then produced "Joy & Jim", starring Greg Davis Jr and Lex Scott Davis currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Kacee is currently focused on growing her production studio with a slate of features and television projects in development.
