Earlier this week paramedics paid a visit to Charlie Sheen's house and thankfully there weren’t any drugs or alcohol involved!
As previously reported by the GossipCenter, the “Two and a Half Men” star suffered from food poisoning and ended up going to the hospital for a quick checkup.
Sheen’s publicist Jeffrey Ballard told Us Weekly, “It was clams. Bad clams. Nothing too exciting. He went to the hospital just to be on the safe side. They checked him out, hydrated him and sent him on his way. He was back home in bed 90 minutes later.”...

Charlie Sheen is not revisiting 2011, y’all. The Two and a Half Men alum was hospitalized on Monday, June 8, simply because he had a very bad case of food poisoning, his publicist, Jeffrey Ballard, confirms to Us Weekly. "It was clams, bad clams," Ballard tells Us. "Nothing too exciting." Denise Richards’ ex-husband, who had a public meltdown back in 2011, had a seafood dinner delivered to his house and after becoming ill, he went to the hospital “just to be on the safe side,” Ballard explained. “They checked [...]...

Apparently (at least according to the blurb on the front cover) based on a true story, Grave Halloween is the latest movie from director Steven R. Monroe – yes he of I Spit on Your Grave 1 & 2 fame – who returns to making TV movies for the Syfy channel (I really liked Mongolian Death Worm Fyi) with this, a J-horror inspired slice of mediocrity that tries to mix American and Japanese filmic ideals, never quite meshing the two together well enough to be a complete success.

Pressed
Stars: Luke Goss, Tyler Johnston, Michael Eklund, Jeffrey Ballard | Written, Produced and Directed by Justin Donnelly
Brian (Goss) is laid off from his job as an executive at one of the top investment firms and, in a fit of desperation, decides to seek a “quick fix” business deal that will put him back on top financially and on the advice of a former schoolfriend he decides, stupidly, (but then if he didn’t do something stupid we wouldn’t have a movie would we?) to invest his savings into a short-term drug deal. Meanwhile two teens, Jesse and Sam, spend their days stealing and joyriding cars. The two cross paths with Brian when they intercept his illicit drug money after car-jacking the vehicle it was in. However they, and Brian, soon learn that they’ve stolen from the wrong people.

The film is not really horror but might be of interest to horror fans. As part of Syfy's Countdown to Christmas Week they will be airing a sci-fi thriller called Snowmaggedon on December 10th, at 9/8c. The film is about a snow globe that has the power to destroy a small town when shaken and will continue to destroy unless it can be stopped. You can see the trailer below and decide if you want to add the film to you Christmas viewing schedule. Snowmaggedon is directed by Sheldon Wilson and stars Magda Apanowicz, Dylan Matzke and Jeffrey Ballard.

See the trailer for Pressed starring Luke Goss! Justin Donnelly directs and writes the crime thriller / action flick which includes Tyler Johnston, Michael Eklund, Jeffrey Ballard, Craig Stanghetta and Andrew Hedge. This looks quite intriguing. I've always liked Luke Goss since Blade II and Hellboy II; a talented and busy actor. The story tells of two joyriders Jesse and Sam who discover something hidden in the back seat of the car that could change their lives forever. Brian, unknown to Jesse and Sam, is desperately trying to seek a "quick fix" business deal that will put him back on top financially after being let go from his executive position at one of the top investment firms.
