"Jujutsu Kaisen" is not just a popular anime, it is Guinness World Records' most in-demand anime series in the world, and it's easy to see why. The anime adaptation of Gege Akutami's manga of the same name is full of memorable characters, a great sense of humor, stunning horror-inspired imagery, and some phenomenal action and animation by Studio Mappa. It doesn't hurt that the first season had one of the best opening sequences and theme songs of the past decade, as well as a fantastic and eclectic soundtrack that even takes inspiration from Billie Eilish.
The show takes place in a world of sorcerers and Curses, spirits caused by negative emotions that haunt humanity. The main story follows Yuji, who joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers after he inadvertently becomes the host of the world's most powerful Curse, named Sukuna.

Jujutsu Kaisen has been scoring one win after another ever since its second season managed to impress fans worldwide. The anime industry is full of fan animations and edits that not only help in expressing creativity but are enclosed within what can only be described as Pandora’s box. Some of these edits are beautiful enough to linger in one’s mind.
Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen
While there are some that get engraved in ways that would leave someone scarred. One fan edit brings together the world of two of the biggest anime; Naruto and Gege Akutami’s magnum opus. Pitting two characters against each other is nowhere near a new concept, but to see Sasuke Uchiha go up against the King of Curses?
Jujutsu Kaisen: Gojo Satoru’s Greatest Asset Was the Reason He Couldn’t Have More ‘Black Flashes’ Than Nanami – Explained
Now that is another story altogether.

Over the last few years, both the anime and manga series of Jujutsu Kaisen have really taken the world by storm. Fans all around the world have been absolutely amazed by the fight sequences, the complex character design, and the phenomenal world-building that Jujutsu Kaisen offers.

First things first, just what everyone wants to read the morning after Oscar Sunday: stats. At this year’s ceremony — which, thanks to an earlier start time, blessedly wrapped up before 10:30 p.m. Et — 13 women won Oscars. 11 of those winners enjoyed their first Academy Award win ever. That means that, at the 2024 Oscars, nearly 85 percent of its female winners smashed one of Hollywood’s highest, brightest ceilings for the first time.
As ever, that stat comes with a caveat or two, as some of the night’s biggest wins for female stars were repeats: Billie Eilish (alongside brother Finneas O’Connell) picked up her second Best Song win for the Barbie track “What Was I Made for,” making her the youngest two-time Oscar winner ever. And, perhaps most notably, a stunned Emma Stone won her second Best Actress statuette for her work in “Poor Things,” beating out first-time nominee Lily Gladstone...

The films in the running for the 2024 Best Visual Effects Oscar are “The Creator,” “Godzilla Minus One,” “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,” and “Napoleon.” Our odds currently indicate that “Godzilla Minus One” (10/3) is the frontrunner, followed in order by “The Creator” (18/5), the new “Guardians” entry (9/2), “Napoleon” (9/2), and the latest “Mission: Impossible” chapter (9/2).
Included among the 17 individuals in this lineup are 13 first-timers who constitute the category’s largest newcomer rate since the minimum annual amount of nominated films was set at five in 2011. This vast majority comprises all four “Godzilla Minus One” team members, dual contender Simone Coco (“Mission: Impossible” and “Napoleon”), three artists from “The Creator”, two from “Guardians of the Galaxy” (Theo Bialek and Alexis Wajsbrot), two more from “Mission: Impossible” (Jeff Sutherland and Alex Wuttke), and one more from “Napoleon” (Luc-Ewen Martin-Fenouillet).

Jujutsu Kaisen fans are eagerly waiting for the Culling games arc to get animated and one of the biggest reasons for this is the anticipation fans have for one of their favorite character Maki Zenin. Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen anime showed Maki being burned by Jogo during the Shibuya Incident arc and since then she has been absent from the anime series.

However, she does return in the manga and her epic transformation has taken the Jujutsu Kaisen world by storm. Fans who have not read the manga are still waiting to see the change Maki goes through. And the thing that makes it even more interesting is that she even gets insanely stronger than she was before.

Among the countless other reasons that make Jujutsu Kaisen the best new-gen anime and manga franchise, the most prominent was the friendship between Geto and Gojo. Fans loved their chemistry on screen and always wished the best for them. Unfortunately, Gege Akutami had different plans as they made vile sorcerer Kenjaku take over Geto’s body after his demise.
Kenjaku
When viewers thought that Geto would never be back, Gege, as usual, shocked their fans once again when Geto subconsciously moved his arm and tried to choke his own body in Shibuya. However, this was never explored further, and what could have been the perfect beginning for the comeback of Geto was left behind.
Gege Akutami could have bought back Geto using this scene in Jujutsu Kaisen
Since Gojo Satoru came back from near death, the idea of a dead person coming back has been discussed among Jujutsu Kaisen fans.

When it comes to Shounen anime, more often than not, it happens that the remarkable, most anticipated arcs are difficult to follow up, resulting in a drop in qualitative aspects, as seen in the cases of some of the most popular titles like Bleach, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, and so on and so forth. The way the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen peaked with the adaptation of the Shibuya Incident arc, fans are skeptical whether the series will be able to surpass it in the third season, which will be released after a year or so. It remains to be seen how well the makers adapt the ensuing storyline from manga, but there are ample hints and plot points provided in the course of this season that can be used to create a narrative that can match up to the brilliance.

Mappa released the 17th episode of the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen today, and the animation house is continuing to show off just how amazing it can be with each passing episode. In the last episode, Sukuna laid waste to half of the city as he gave a beatdown to Jogo before incinerating him, while the cursed technique used by Haruta Shigemo blindsided Megumi Fushiguro out of nowhere. Now, Sukuna is about to run wild in Itadori’s body as Fushiguro prepares to fight a new enemy.

The sixteenth episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is set in Shibuya, as newer and stronger enemies unleash their attacks. In the previous episode, Jogo probably killed Nanami, Maki, and Naobito Zen’in before waking Sukuna by feeding 10 of his fingers to the unconscious Itadori Yuji. Sukuna immediately went on the offensive, slicing and dicing anyone in sight before finally offering Jogo a challenge. Were the cursed spirit to land a single blow on Sukuna, he’d work for Jogo and his crew. Does Jogo manage to harm the King of Curses?

When you’re done watching the ninth episode, you need to sit with it for a while, because it’s one of those episodes in anime where you know the heartbreak is coming, but when it does, you still can’t handle it. In the previous episode, Gojo stepped into the Shibuya station and faced off against Jogo, Hanami, and Choso, as Yuji and Mei entered from another part to rescue the humans. While most Final Fantasy games take place in their own worlds, the franchise is still linked together through several iconic factors such as Chocobos, elemental crystals, and powerful summons. The series established many of those tropes early on but not all at once. Summons, for instance, weren’t added until Final Fantasy III. But unlike some of the other iconic Final Fantasy features, summons weren’t necessarily intended to be a major part of the franchise.
Several days ago, Square Enix held an interview with the major figures behind Final Fantasy: Hironobu Sakeguchi, Kazuko Shibuya, and Yoshinori Kitase.
