Celeste Sully starred in the breakout thriller, 1BR, which trended in the Top 10 on Netflix for almost a week. In 2021, she took home the Women Of Color Filmmakers Best Short Film Award for, Naked: A Visual Poem, which she wrote and directed. Other credits include Second Generation Wayans (Tiffany), Toni Braxton's Biopic: Unbreak My Heart (Pebbles), Subway, National Car Rental, Nike, Dasani, CB2 and Kenra Professional's Forward Momentum campaign.
Born and raised in Chicago, Celeste is a trained Actor and former Division I NAIA basketball player (Lindsey Wilson College/Biology major) who trained as a youth in Modern Jazz (Gus Giordano's Dance School) and grew up in the underground Hip-Hop scene.
Born from an Afro/Indo Guyanese mother (HIV/AIDS Nurse for over 30 years) and an Irish/German father (Postal Worker), Celeste understands the importance of utilizing her career as a platform for change and is a Board member of Women of Color Filmmakers (WOCF) and Caribeña Creatives.
