- Aleksandar is a member of MENSA - High IQ society.
- Trained football (soccer) over 10 years in youth categories of Yugoslavian Premier league clubs (ie FK Rad). Also played for the University of London All-Star team and was scouted by FC Tottenham Hotspur.
- Adding to the Black belt in Shotokan Karate, for which he trained under sensei Masataka Mori (JKA NY) and sensei James Field (ISKF Santa Monica), Aleksandar also studied Aikido under sensei Mirko Jovandic (Aikido Serbia) and sensei Yoshimitsu Yamada (NY Aikikai). He also studied various forms of Kobudo and extreme martial arts (XMA) with Michael Chaturantabut.
- Finished elementary school in Moscow, high-school in Belgrade, college in London and acting school in New York city.
- Attained a Bachelor's degree in Computer science, at Royal Holloway University of London, at the age of 20. Before studying acting he considered becoming a video game programmer.
- Fluent in English, Russian, Serbian.
- Lived in Belgrade, Moscow, London, New York and Los Angeles.
- Plays many instruments, most notably guitar and is a bass/baritone. Which helped him land his first cartoon voice-over job, in which he totaled over 30 characters in one season.
- His father played football (soccer) for FK Partizan Belgrade. Even though Aleksandar was talented and loves the game, he says he never felt like stealing his father's glory.
- At the age of 14 he was spotted playing beach volleyball with friends and was pursued for a couple of weeks to join volleyball team Red Star Belgrade. However, Aleksandar thankfully declined, saying that he is already training football (soccer) and is a fan of Red Star's fiercest rivals - Partizan.
- Aleksandar is a certified lifeguard and was heavily involved in various rescue missions during the catastrophic floods in the Balkans in 2014. He has also saved a lady's life on an Intercontinental flight between Warsaw and Los Angeles in 2018. His first save happened while he was only a child, his younger sister, following older girls fell into the deep part of the river at the Nakhabino resort, upon hearing the commotion and his mother screaming from the far side of the beach, he ran in the water, dived underneath and after a struggle with the narrow dip in the river bed, he finally managed to bring her out. He said he fully realized what had happened when he saw the river packed with fully dressed people swimming towards them as he was carrying her out.
- Aleksandar was hired by and became friends with Tom Petty in the last year of the famous rock star's life, after meeting a lady with a broken arm and helping her. It turned out the woman was Dana Petty, Tom's wife.
- Studied ballroom dancing as a mandatory class in Licei 1140 (Moscow elementary school) and later on continued training with Paul Pellicoro at his Manhattan studio - Dancesport. Aleksandar's favorite dance is Rumba.
- Studied acting at the famous Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City under many renowned acting teachers, including: Hope Arthur, Pennie DuPont, Geoffrey Horne and George Loros.
- Produced his first film starring alongside one of his closest friends Deep Roy.
- Saved the life of his good friend Deep Roy when a woman, who was texting while driving, raced her car through the crosswalk in Santa Monica without noticing the 4'4 actor crossing. Aleksandar, who was crossing behind Deep, lunged forward lifting him and leaped to the side of the road. The woman slammed the breaks of her SUV and came to a full stop over 60 feet past the crosswalk.
- On the set of Dolemite Is My Name (2019), upon hearing that Aleksandar's parents were in LA, visiting from Europe, director Craig Brewer invited them to the set. Alex said that one of the proudest moments of his life, after a long struggle and uncertainty of the acting world, was bringing his parents to the set of his first Hollywood movie and introducing them to his childhood idol and now a colleague - Eddie Murphy.
- In his first role in a major TV show in the US, The Americans (2013), he got double-hired, first to play the border soldier who was listening to the soccer match over the radio and yelling back at the commentator, and afterwards to voice-record that commentator as well, due to having an extremely changeable/versatile voice.
